This was our first time and definitely not our last. What a find! Highly recommend this restaurant. We did not have reservations and asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the food come out of the kitchen. Every dish looked amazing. Very well run super busy yet the owner still stopped by to check on us and have a delightful conversation on the artwork. Ample seating outside lovely tables inside as well. Highly recommend.

I was looking forward to visiting after all the great reviews I've heard online. I was super excited to see they had beef wellington as their special since my fiance has always wanted to try it. Sadly when we arrived and we were seated they told us they were completely sold out of their special. Talk about being bummed out. No matter I said we will stay and try something else. I ordered the blackened chicken with the fettuccine and my fiance ordered the pistachio crusted chicken with beans. He said his food was delicious but I was left disappointed by mine. My chicken was so thin and small and not to mention dry. The fettuccine was bland but the vegetables were good. For the price I was expecting better portions. Next time I'll go back to olive garden instead. Definitely not worth the price. Maybe I'll go back again and try it again when they have the beef wellington as a special again. Sadly my first experience wasn't the best. 3 stars at best.

The place has an outdoor sitting area, but in the summer it's impossible to sit outside, it’s insanely hot so keep that in mind. There is ample parking on the street and in a parking lot next to the restaurant. The prices are higher than an average place with the same selection of food. I expected a little more from this place so I'm not sure if I would recommend it or not, according to my experience here.

Had the pleasure of taking my Uncle for a 75 birthday dinner to River City Grill. Wow. The food was amazing. My Aunt was pleasantly surprised they had a great selection of vegan and gluten free meals. The rest of us had beef and the Lamb. Cooked just as ordered, perfection,vegetables 😋 not overdone and so fresh. My uncle had the bread Pudding and aunt had the Sorbets both were delicious, perfect end to our meal. Shout out to waiter and waitresses. You are superb at your jobs. Thank you again from 🇨🇦 travelers.

We had lunch. Tried the special which was a chicken breast sandwich. It was very good as was the pasta dish we had. My wife was very happy with the variety of foods offered. She found a lot of things we will be going back to try later. It was priced reasonably for the type of food served here. There was a lot of seating in the patio.

What a pleasant surprise after a long day of travel. My son said, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better menu.” We both had a difficult time choosing. I decided on the Shrimp/Scallop with coconut curry sauce with the servers help. Yum!! I started with a nice Caesar Salad. My dog was very well welcomed on the patio and they were able to cook up a chicken breast for her. I hardly ever come to Yuma but I would definitely make this a stop again. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

It’s a gem in the desert, a comfy cafe style restaurant with wonderful food options. I enjoyed the best spinach salad, with fresh greens, nuts, cranberries and Gorgonzola cheese! Can’t get better than that. I wasn’t sure about the area but soon found all was well and inviting.

Review for River City Grill Yuma I purchased a $115 gift certificate for my brother and his wife so they could enjoy a special night out—something they rarely do for themselves. My brother is a humble man who takes care of his large family, including his children and grandchildren, and I wanted to treat them to a great dining experience. The next day, I called to ask how their dinner went, and he told me the food was fantastic—so much so that he had to take some home. However, their total bill came to $103, leaving a $12 balance on the gift card. When he offered to use the remaining amount as a tip, the waiter told him it couldn’t be applied toward gratuity and that he had to leave a separate tip. My brother, being the generous person he is, still left a tip, but the unused $12 was left behind. I contacted the restaurant to inquire about this, but unfortunately, their customer service has been disappointing. The first time I called, I was told no one was available to help. The next day, I called again and was told I’d receive a callback, which never happened. A few days later, I followed up again, requesting to speak with the owners, and was once again told they weren’t available but would get back to me. It’s now been two more days, and I still haven’t heard anything. While their food may be excellent, their lack of response and poor handling of a simple issue are disappointing. Customer service should match the quality of the cuisine, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. As someone who lives out of town, it’s frustrating to have to keep chasing them for a resolution. This experience has certainly left a bad impression, and I hope they improve how they handle customer concerns in the future.
