Service can be hit or miss, with some reviews noting long waits for drink orders. Food quality is generally high, with dishes like the snapper, crab cakes, and steaks receiving praise. However, some patrons noted disappointment with portion sizes and presentations, especially for the price. The atmosphere is described as cozy and inviting, suitable for celebrations. The restaurant's unique offerings, such as wild game and escargot, intrigue diners, although experiences with them can vary. Overall, while many enjoyed their meals, some felt the dining experience did not meet their expectations for the price. Reservations are recommended, especially for busy nights, and it's suggested to clarify seating options to avoid confusion.

We came for my fiances birthday for dinner and our last little dinner date before our son is born. We had a reservation and arrived early and we're seated right away! Awesome off to a good start! They weren't very busy, it was Sunday at around 545pm. The server took quiet a while to come to our table to get our drink order even though he only had a couple tables. My fiance ordered the steak and scallops special and I got the seafood pasta. The steak and scallops special was $85 and the scallops were the size of little garlic cloves. That was pretty disappointing due to the price point and what you could of got on the menu for the same price. The steak was great and cooked very well just missing some salt. The pasta came out lukewarm but I did not want to send it back in fear of the Shrimp and Lobster becoming rubbery in the pasta. We received a brownie for his birthday and it was yummy. Overall we weren't too impressed. Hoping it was an off day and it's not normally like that there. For almost $200 dinner you expect everything to be on point.

Looks like an historic building, there is a cozy bar in the front. The restaurant seating is towards the side and rear. Open kitchen. The food is very well made. Extremely delicious! I had the special of the day snapper with a cream sauce, and a squash purée. It was done to perfection! We also had a crab cake that was equally good. There is game in the menu. Including kangaroo venison and bison. The service was above par. I would be happy to return.

I ordered escargot which was an interesting experience you can't get in many places. Another thing I ordered was a kangaroo, the meat was super tough and chewy( I assume it's just the nature of the kangaroo) but either way I don't recommend. My partner ordered a baseball steak which was pretty good. Presentation was definitely lacking for a restaurant where you pay around 100$ per person. The atmosphere and service was good.

It was my birthday celebration, and I wanted to honor one of my New Year's resolutions, so I chose to dine at The Cork with my two friends. We had made reservations and were seated quickly. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and appeared casual, without anyone putting on airs. We ordered drinks. I was the DD, so I ordered the Virgin Verde! It was amazing! It was light and citrus-like and had a jalapeno zing to it. It really woke up and refreshed those taste buds! Try it!!!The girls had an Old Fashioned and a margarita, which they loved and buzzed on. Honoring another part of my New Year's resolutions, my friends and I decided to try unusual appetizers. We ordered the escargot and the wild meat trio, and we also ordered a basket of homemade bread (so we'd have something to nosh on in the event we panicked about the escargot). The escargot came in a sauce and out of the shell, so it was easy to eat. It was more tasty than I had anticipated. The sauce was really good, and the snails themselves were cooked well and were firm but not hard and soft but not mushy. One of my friends just swallowed her escargot because she didn't like the texture on her first chew. The wild meat trio came with venison, kangaroo, and bison, each with its own sauce. All three meats were very good, as were their sauces, and they were all tender and tasteful, and each had its own flavor. It seemed weird to be eating kangaroo, just the thought of it, but that did not stop us. I had heard that venison had a gamey flavor and was anticipating a bad taste, but I was pleasantly surprised that I could taste the gaminess, but it was a flavor change that was not offensive. We liked all three meats. Our entrees consisted of the red snapper special and two filet mignon specials. I had the red snapper with grilled broccolini and roasted asparagus. The fish had crispy skin and was flaky, and the vegetables were fine, and it satisfied my resolution, but it wasn't "exciting" to me. I LOVE steak, but I had to be different tonight. It was not the food; it was the choices I made, that's all. Now, my friends filets mignons were super tender and seasoned well and what I should have ordered. They ate the heck outta those steaks, but delicately because it was a fancy night for us. We ordered a macadamia nut tart for dessert, and it was amazing. The crust was firm but light, and the filling was all kinds of macadamia-y, crunchy and sweet! I was surprised by a birthday brownie, which we also tore into, and it was a sinful, chocolatey ending to our special night. The service was really good from the moment we were greeted to dessert. Our first server was Skylar, who shortly after greeting us and taking our drink orders, informed us that he would not be our server, after which we met Peyton. She became our server for the evening, and she was attentive and personable.

Knocked out socks off. Yep, that special. We’re in town for a weekend of site seeing and dined tonight at the Cork. This is how a restaurant should be run. Reasonable prices. Generous portions. Exceptional menu. Everything on the menu was available. Friendly service. Outstanding attention to our table of four throughout the dining experience. Great food. We had prime rib, classic liver and onions, strip steak, PUMPKIN crème brûlée. And a good bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.

This place has a huge menu. Bigger downside is in Opentable , they don’t differentiate between happy hour and standard seating. We were seated in the restaurant and when we asked for the happy hour menu, our server mentioned that we cannot order happy hour prices from standard seating (for a 750sqft place!) We were then seated in the bar area, which was not bad either. The sautéed mushrooms are nice. Fish is average, small portions. When the menu says Jumbo crab cake, and for $20 you expect something larger than regular. Now I wonder what size their regular crab cake is! The staff is friendly and efficient. Housewine is great for $6. When you make the reservation, make sure you ask for happy hour seating. I was expecting something like LeRende Vous from the about, pictures and menu, but was halfway disappointed. For someone looking for a quite of a date night ambience, go to Rende Vouz for the same prices, better taste and portions, or Vivace, same prices but far ahead in everything.

We ordered several of the appetizers to try a variety of things. We got the Meat Trio (bison, kangaroo, and bison), the Escargot, and the Prime Rib Strips (served on mashed potatoes), and everything tasted phenomenal!!! It was cooked to perfection and the flavors were outstanding. The sauce pairs for each was unique and we'll paired. Our water glasses were never empty, and they provided additional bread for the escort go on request. We also got the bread appetizer and it had two different types of bread that were hot and tasty. One was a garlic fluffy bread and the other had a crispy outside, all served with a flavored butter. And the atmosphere was cozy. The only thing that they fell short on was the restrooms seemed to be outdated, seemed to not match the rest of the atmosphere, and were extremely tight quarters.

We were able to book a last-minute reso the day before NYE as out of state visitors and were very pleased with our experience. We both dined on a classic surf and turf, which came with 2 sides, and I enjoyed a tasty malbec, as suggested by our server. Didn't get to explore too much of the establishment as it was as busy as you can imagine, but I feel like each room had its own fireplace to supply a cozy atmosphere. The food was perfect, the service was fantastic and you can really see why they are the oldest steakhouse in town. Definitely recommend. The only thing I will say is watch out with the entrance. Our GPS had us confused on how to get in, and we ended up in the commercial lot next door but it was all good once we figured it out.
