The friendly and attentive staff make guests feel welcome, while the old-timey vibe adds to the dining experience. Dishes like the rolls, crab salad, and perfectly cooked meats receive rave reviews, although some diners found certain items like ribs and steaks to be less flavorful. The restaurant offers good value for the quality and portion sizes, and the self-serve salad bar is a nice touch. While the steak is generally well-prepared, some patrons noted inconsistencies in flavor and seasoning. Every year, we visit Tucson for the gem show, and each trip, I pick my personal favorite dining experience. This year, the honor goes to **The Silver Saddle** ⭐️—and it absolutely deserves the spotlight! From the service to the atmosphere and, of course, the food, everything was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The restaurant itself is charming, with an old-timey vibe that transports you to another era. The centerpiece? The grill—a true jewel of the show, both in looks and function. Now, let’s talk about the food. Oh, the food! Those “rolls” yes, those rolls were nothing short of magnificent. Do yourself a favor and order a couple of baskets; you won’t regret it. The salad bar offered a great variety, and my favorite was the “crab salad” (made with imitation crab, but still absolutely delicious). The baked potatoes were perfectly cooked, the beans were exquisite, and the meat? Well, that’s what this place does best pure perfection. And let’s not forget the value, the prices are just right for the quality and portion sizes. If you’re in Tucson, The Silver Saddle Steakhouse is a must visit. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place will leave you full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Once I found out Adam Sandler ate here I had to come here too! 🤣 The food was delicious! The chicken noodle soup, sirloin and prime rib were delicious! I got medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. The waiter was very friendly as well and service was quick! The online menu didn't mention mashed potatoes but they offer them. They tasted fresh. I will for sure come back again.

Traditional and old style steakhouse. I love that we can see how the meats are getting cooked and there is a self-serve salad bar. The staff was friendly and accomodating. As far as food taste, its not the greatest just okay. The ribs I got was kinda dry and the steak was a little chewy. The burger patty was dry as well. Not a bad choice to dine in if you are in the area.

We were really lucky to be in the area of this place and have it pop up on Google's list of restaurants nearby. It gets my coveted "This place knows what they're doing!" 5-star Award. This is a come-as-you-are, glad-to-see-you steakhouse/supper club that apparently has become a local legend. And for good reason. The Sampler Platter of ribs, chicken, and sirloin (cooked perfectly to order) was out of this world. The 1/2 Broiled Chicken was juicy and tender inside with a beautifully browned crust. And the BBQ sauce that accopanies it all is, well, like a friend always says, "the best I've ever put in my entire mouth!" I hoped to buy some, but it's only available at the table. You know it's a great place when you walk past the cooking pit and see (and smell) the top quality meats being thrown on the grates. No wonder this is a favorite destination of a famous comedian-movie star who always comes here when he's in town. I'm not dropping the name because you should drop in the Silver Saddle and see his picture on the back wall for yourself. Maybe he'll even be there!

The Silver Saddle Steak House in Tucson, AZ, offers ok flavors with a classic steak hour ambiance. The steaks are flavorful and cooked well enough, making it a good choice for meat lovers. You may need to watch out for undercooked chicken. Parking is a bit limited and accessing the location is a bit tricky as you can likely tell from the map. The menu is just a tad pricier than it should be for the quality of the food. Also if you decide to split a meal, they add an upcharge. Overall, nothing impressive, however, it is a good dining experience for those looking for a hearty meal.

Staff was great despite the restaurant being completely packed. Steak was a tad over cooked but still very good.

King’s Cut Prime Rib last night X 3, medium rare – absolutely fantastic. Seriously, for Prime Rib - I believe this is as good as it gets in Tucson, and it is GOOD! (El Corral, Pinnacle Peaks “Forget-about-it"). Recommend the loaded potato & requesting ‘real cheese’ vice the standard cheese ‘sauce’. Cowboy beans and the soft warm rolls, wonderful. Tip of the hat to Christy Q. – who is in my top 5 servers ever! Always present but never there, forward thinking, polite, knows the menu – just 10-star service, thank you Christy and appreciate the hard work Silver Saddle team.

Three ribeye steaks and they had NO seasoning BUT the service was great. The fries were pretty good! With that type of rating I expected more flavor in the steak and that was disappointing.
