Prior to our visit, my parents had an amazing time here, but we were left a bit disappointed. The food was good, no denying that. The ramen was great and the sushi was excellent. The only downside was the fried rice, greatly over sauced and salty. The server took it back and replaced it was a much better one. However, they forgot to serve us the gluten free version and we almost had an incident occur. Speaking of the service, while our server was polite, he failed to check in. However, the place was busy. Overall I’d give it an 8/10. Recommend coming for the sushi!

This is a top restaurant in Tucson, Arizona. I could not, and still do not, candidly, believe the experience one can have here. Everyone is so friendly! Unbelievably tasting food, is really just the icing on the cake! Take your fam and friends, make it a regular stop. You will have a great time! 😋

If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s worth the wait, Obon Sushi Bar Ramen is it! This place is absolutely delicious, so be prepared to wait a little during peak hours, even if you have a reservation. Trust me, it’s worth every minute! We kicked off our meal with the Wagyu egg rolls, and they were nothing short of amazing—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly indulgent. For the main course, I had the Obon ramen, which is a must-try if you enjoy a kick of spice in your dish. The depth of flavor in the broth was unmatched. My fiancé went with the Strip Signature Roll, and wow—what a standout! The fusion of shrimp and spicy crab mix created a perfect balance of flavors that was both fresh and satisfying. Overall, Obon delivers a fantastic blend of flavors, exceptional dishes, and a lively atmosphere. It’s clear why this spot is so popular. Can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

OMG! We had to sample so many items here. Everything was so good. The ramen had a delicious spice to it. I love it hot. Even had blistered Shishito peppers in it. The sushi was amazing. Loved the flavor combos and the size was perfect for bite size. Sometimes sushi comes too large and makes it difficult to eat. Highly recommend the crispy rice sampler.

The ambiance of the place was great. We made reservations and didn't have to wait too long for our table. I will have to say for the price I expected a lot more. For me, it was just ok. Service was ok.

I'm not a sushi fan, so I was a little hesitant, but it turned out great. There are many options...I had the noodles and my wife had fried rice. They were both excellent. Portions are large and portions could be split, or brought home for leftovers. We sat outside and it was confortable. They had heat lamps and the outside energy added to the fun. We were with a large group of 10 and the accommodated well, with reservations ahead of the date. I'd go back again.

Food was good. Nigiri tasted fresh and poke bowel was tasty. Original ramen was salty and Obon ramen was better. Service was slow and overall needs improvement. Sat outside. With stove it was nice.
