We were on vacation and stopped in to get some dinner. Our chef was friendly, fun, and highly skilled. I can't imagine being a chef performing throughout the night for people while maintaining an upbeat and friendly demeanor, but our chef made us feel special. My steak was delicious and my wife's chicken was perfectly cooked. The fried rice was well prepared. My only complaint would be how long it took to get our food. I would estimate that from the time we sat down to the time we had our food, it had to be about 70 minutes. So if you're hungry and want to eat within the hour of arrival, Mr. An's may not be the best choice. But if you have time to spare, this is a great place to go for Teppan. Highly recommended!

Super service, super food, the chef was very talkative and his showmanship was top notch. The atmosphere was electric and everyone seemed to be having fun. The wait service was on top of their game, and constantly coming by to see if we needed anything.

Valentine’s Day: First time taking my daughter to a Teppanyaki Grill. We spent $80 on the Baja Roll, Shrimp Teppanyaki with a Dr Pepper. Was a bit surprised to be charged an additional $10 fee for sharing noodles with my 2 year old. You pay for the production/chef fee, the quality/care is not fancy or fine dining in my experience.

Traveling into the area for a sports tournament and was staying half a block away at the Best Western. Pleasantly surprised at the food and exceptional service. The hostess was very accommodating to our late arrival party, the waitress seemed to anticipate our every need, the chef Jose was friendly and noted my food allergies. My party had the surf and turf plus steaks which they loved. I had the agadashi tofu (crispy and flavorful), seaweed poke salad (perfect amount of spicy), and veggie stirfry entree. They were all delicious and the fantastic staff really made the restaurant stand out.

Had a wonderful time here. The service is excellent. I have an onion allergy and they had to cook the veggies separate in the kitchen & they still timed it perfectly. I did have an issue with my appetizer they just couldn't seem to make it without onions, but the manager eventually worked it out for us Even the chef seemed to personalize the service for each of the people at the table and even though the place was packed, the manager went around and spoke with everyone. It was great.

This is one of the best places to go to in Tucson for anyone but especially for me who has many disabilities and medical problems. This is my number 1 safe restaurant. I am served great food every time with excellent service. when I’m in my wheelchair they help me up and down the ramp without me having to ask nor do I expect it they just do it. When I have a medical episode they are so willing to help in anyway they can. I was even able to meet with management to discuss how to help and when to call EMS. I want to be clear They don’t have to do this they choose to so I can live as normal as a life as I can and be a repeat customer. I always feel safe here! I also love that I have gotten to know a lot of the chefs they always have great jokes and cook wonderful meals! I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant, the managers and all the other staff that make it all work night after night!

My food was typically what you would get at any grill of this type. My complaint would be the cooking area that we sat in the vent wasn't working properly. We always eat at different grills of this type, but the table I sat at the smoke from the food being cooked was coming straight at me. I actually stopped eating and backed up from the table every time he started pouring oil and a new meat on the grill. Because of the service and the food we will likely return but eat at a table, not next to the grill. I feel it was a 8 person table. Hopefully, they will go in and fix the vent, definitely a problem.
