I have been staying at the double tree for a little over 2 weeks now. The huevoes rancheros became my favorite dish. My waitress most mornings was Michaela. She is the bomb!! She greeted me with a welcoming smile every time. She is bubbly, funny and just great to have a conversation with. Thank you Michaela for being such a great waitress. There needs to be more waitresses like you. I look forward to seeing you at breakfast.

We had a great breakfast! Dana was our hostess. Love getting to know her. Felt like we were at home.

They open at 6:30a; I was there waiting patiently at 6:20a. I was in no rush and when they officially opened I was warmly greeted by Dalall. Despite the growing amount of patrons, she smiled and was very welcoming as was the vibe of the place - the view of the pool and palm trees - Wow! Dalall is a great representative for the Cactus Rose. My waitress, Michaela was very pleasant and greeted me with coffee - YESSS!! My food arrived quickly, hot and fresh; it was soooo delicious, I returned the next day and ordered the exact same thing! A great start to my day. Dalall and Michaela, thank you for helping make my first time in Arizona a really enjoyable one!

Best customer service I have received in this city. Madison was a fabulous and attentive server. The food was good and in healthy portions. Nice and quiet atmosphere. My only complaint (and this is nitpicking so much that I am not even dropping a star for it) is that the glasses are so small. By the 3rd refill how about bringing a larger glass instead.

We just finished a really awful breakfast here. They have a breakfast buffet for $15 per person. Don’t waste your money. The scrambled eggs are not made from real eggs, they don’t have toast, muffins or bagels. They have blueberry and banana muffins-the kind of quality that you would expect from Hostess. One choice of yogurt-‘Lite and Fit’ - which has the consistency of glue and is flavored with aspartame.

The staff at the Cactus Rose were friendly and welcoming. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. It could be described as understated elegance. I was happy to find vegetarian and even vegan entrees. There is a vegan burrito on the menu. My choice was the salad bar. This was a good choice, as there were healthy and gourmet selections available. My husband and I had a truly enjoyable dining experience.

Great breakfast buffet, ANYTHING YOU WANT IS THERE! Fresh baked bran muffins or banana nut are a favorite! The scrambled eggs are fresh and the fresh waffles offer up the perfect crunch. The wait staff is knowledgable and quick to serve as they are the icing on the cake.
