Found this place and decided to try it. My shrimp were really good! Prime rib was rare as ordered! Loaded baked potatoes had real bacon! Onion rings were amazing! Only recommendation I would do is add bread to steak and shrimp dinners! Overall would highly recommend!

Some guys were mad about kiddos doing the “all ages karaoke”… bartender/server handled the situation great. Trying to explain how children WERE allowed… (we were there for an 11 year old birthday party, she’s been in choir the last few years and really had taken off with music.) We left as the drama started, as we had children. But the staff were accommodating, supporting, and honest. We appreciated them trying to defend us - but it wasn’t worth the fight! Thank you to the PM crew - our kiddo had a great time!!!! 😁

Service was wonderful, very friendly and prompt. The food was good, had the blue cheese steak and that was excellent, potatoes were OK. Comfortable atmosphere, I'm sure we will be back with anyone in the mood for a Texan atmosphere!

Really nice bar area to hang out during sports or even just on a Friday night. Only drawback is it gets really loud and food can take a bit longer to come out of the kitchen. The dining room is a more quiet and casual area to eat in. The steak dinners are really good, cooked to your liking and the baked potatoes are some of the best I've had. Cheesesteaks are also very good and HOT!! Iced tea is fresh brewed and made exactly like it should be, not too weak, not too strong.

Would leave a review about their food but unfortunately we waited 20 minutes for service and we were never served or given waters or anything like that. Wasn’t even that busy from outwards appearances! People that got seated after us got served before us and we were ignored by most of the servers available, one gentleman attempted to help us but even he was focused on his own tables and couldn’t find our server. Be better.

It's a casual sports bar atmosphere, which is our speed. However it is extremely loud. It's not music or TV volume loud, but people/voices loud. I can't hear my own table conversation because of the background noise. This isn't really a complaint about the place, just a personal issue. It's not their fault I'm old and can't hear well. Anyway the worst part of the experience is usually the service, which is VERY slow. Our server seems to forget we're there and go on break or something, because we can never find them when we need them. Food is only average. Over all not a great experience. We will go back because it's close to home and there are a lot of TVs and usually whatever game we want to watch is on. There are many other sports bar options which we usually choose over Barnfire. It's not so bad that we won't return, but not good enough to make it a regular spot.

First impressions weren't ideal. Though the bar was hopping, the dining room was mid-afternoon quiet. It took a host about 5 minutes to arrive from a back room to seat us. Our booth was clean, but the longer we were there, the more we noticed fingerprint patina on a lot of surfaces, especially the walk-in fridge door as you walked to the dogeared (but clean) restrooms. Our waitress was cordial and checked in with us frequently, which was good because it took a half-hour for our entrees to appear. Evidently, they had a large party in the adjoining dining room, and the kitchen staff were in the weeds. The saving grace was the food! Delicious onion rings for the appetizer, fresh salad, perfectly cooked brisket and ribs, and tasty sides. Was it the best BBQ we've ever had? No. But Barnfire's fare was quite good. This place has potential, but they need to update the decor from the restaurant's previous incarnation and bring in staff to cover big parties.
