Angry Crab Shack & BBQ

We stopped in at The Angry Crab Shack on Grant for a celebratory 4.0 grade point average! We had fried shrimp, clam chowder and of course a sea food boil. It was all very delicious and the wait staff (Amariz) was very attentive and courteous. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Our room at the Hyatt was not ready when we arrived from the airport, so they suggested we get lunch next door at the Angry Crab Shack & BBQ. We weren't sure what to expect as we walked across the parking lot. We weren't even sure they were open. However, once we opened the door and walked inside, we were greeted by delicious smells and voices of other customers. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon and it was fairly empty. So no long wait list to get inside. Service was quick and efficient. Our server was super friendly and helped us select some favorites. She was right. Food was delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed and fun. "Graffiti" of signatures and messages were on everything. Reading everything written on the walls by our table helped us pass the time as we waited for our food, which did not take long. We ordered deep fried pickle chips, burger and fries, and catfish and fries. YUM!! What a pleasant surprise and a great find!

Went to the angry crab shack & BBQ for my birthday last night and we had the best waiter named Joe! He made sure my night was awesome and the food was delicious! Hands down will be returning soon! Thank you Joe and staff for the birthday song

Dexter definitely went above and beyond. We went to celebrate my son’s birthday and when we got home he realized he lost the bracelet he was just given for his birthday. Dexter went the extra mile and looked through the trash, under our table and eventually found it outside. He really saved the day. Thank you so much, your extra effort was so appreciated.

The food was alright but I'm pretty sure the kitchen gave me the wrong spice level. Service on the other hand was really bad. If I'm spending over 100 bucks for one person I kinda expect not to wait over 15 minutes to be greeted at my table. And to see my waitress more then 3 times including her dropping off the food then racing away. Another waitress noticed that my drink had been empty for a while and even though the dinning room is super small couldn't see mine anywhere to flag her down. Over all probably not going to come back here.

Angry crab shack a BBQ would be a place to have a party. With friends that don't mind eating messy. A girlfriend or spouse that would go 4x4 riding and not mind the dirt muddy and dust. Maybe bringing your own bowl would be a suggestion. And since the drinks are pretty trashy. A designated driver to get you back to your ride in the desert. Today was my first time the menue was crazy. Everything looked good. I had a dungeoness crab bag. And added a few items. The buttery sauce is best no heat for me. I forgot to take pics, of the bag of food. Omg , that good eats.

Not only was there a staff member in the bathroom doing drugs. The bathroom was absolutely horrible. Even the changing table was disgusting. Was told over an hour for a table went to the car to change baby and ended up driving another 20 minutes out of our way to go to the one on Broadway!! The service at the other one was amazing. If you’re near the Tucson area I recommend the other location not the one off of the 10 and grant.

This place was sooo good. Like imagine watching the TikTok’s of ppl eating seafood boils, but instead you’re actually the ones eating. Too good. And then the actual service and the manager is so cool. Erica, my server, was soo amazing and attentive. Really appreciated the night and they made it so much better. Will be coming back soon!
