We went for happy hour and sat in a booth on the patio. The outside patio is very open and is a great place to enjoy food and drinks. The drink specials are very reasonable, with lots of options for happy hour food. We had the steak bites - not only delicious, but enough steak for two people to enjoy. We will go back for the full dinner menu - lots of good options. Recommended!

I had a nice break before my job start time, so I decided to grab a bite to eat and didn't want food court food, so I stopped at Moxies. When I walked in, the decor was nice and classy, and the hostess was nice. I sat at my table for a little time before my waitress even looked at me. Was a little upset that my waitress didn't greet me and say anything. I mean, as a customer service representative, I know that if you are busy, you could at least stop and say hello or smile or something to acknowledge your customer. Finally, I was greeted, and I gave the waitress my order. My food came out fast, and of course, she messed up my food order. I dnt like to send food back, so I ate the chips instead of the fries I ordered. My steak bites were so perfect, and that sauce was so great.

Large portions but the food is just ok! It’s a nice place to try, they have good service and the atmosphere is trendy and lively. The service is good and food portions are large. You will not leave there feeling half full. We got the Mango potstickers, chicken rigatoni, Scottish salmon and the toffee pudding. Although the portions were big, the flavor just wasn’t there. Hopefully it gets better.

Good place to hang out with friends or have business meeting. Staff is warm, welcoming and super friendly. Price wise not so high compared to other neighbouring upscale restaurant. Large menu from all parts of the world including good vegetarian & vegan options. Service is not bad. Quality is somewhat ok. Value for money 3.5/5. Overall a good choice. Try it if you are in old Town Scottsdale.

This was the first time we ate here and it was so good all the way from the time we were seated until we paid for our food. The steak bites and crab cake is so delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Moxie’s restaurant in Scottsdale, AZ, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the sophisticated décor and the expansive, open layout. The space is thoughtfully designed with cozy booths lining the exterior and high-top tables filling the central area, creating an atmosphere that’s both inviting and chic. The menu at Moxie’s is a culinary feast for both the eyes and the palate. Every dish is artfully presented, and the flavors are nothing short of exceptional. I had the opportunity to try two outstanding items: • FARMERS HASH: This hearty dish combines pancetta bacon, jalapeño pork sausage, roasted vegetables, and pickled onions, all topped with perfectly poached eggs, home fries, and a drizzle of hollandaise sauce. The medley of flavors and textures made every bite delightful. • TUNA SUSHI STACK: A visually stunning dish featuring sushi-grade tuna stacked with seasoned rice, avocado, mango, and complemented by a soy ginger glaze and spicy mayo. Served alongside seasoned prawn crackers, it was a refreshing and flavorful treat. The service was equally impressive. Our server was not only attentive and knowledgeable but also genuinely friendly and helpful, enhancing our overall dining experience. The staff’s professionalism and warmth made us feel well-cared-for throughout our meal. Overall, Moxie’s hit it out of the park in all areas. From the elegant ambiance to the exquisite cuisine and excellent service, it’s a restaurant that delivers on all fronts. Additional Information: • Ambiance: Perfect for both casual lunches and special occasions, with a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. • Location: Conveniently situated in Scottsdale with ample parking options nearby. • Reservations: Recommended during peak hours to ensure a seamless dining experience. • Menu Variety: Offers a diverse selection catering to various tastes, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you’re in Scottsdale and looking for a memorable dining experience, Moxie’s is a must-visit destination. I highly recommend it and look forward to my next visit.

Update: went for dinner on a Saturday night. To my shock we only waited about 5 min for a table. Ordered the steak bite appetizer, and we both loved it. The horseradish sauce was a good compliment to the bites. I ordered the half rack of ribs, which were excellent, and my friend got the cheeseburger. Original review : The steak salad is the best item on the menu, IMO. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the goat cheese crostinis were a nice touch. Loved the salad dressing that was somewhat sweet. Started with the lump crab cake that at $26 was not Ocean 44 or Mastros quality. It smelled a little fishy, and the side salad didn't fit with the crab cake. I've had the poutine that even though the fries and portion are great, it was not reminiscent of the great poutine I've had many times in Toronto. The tuna sushi stack sounds great on the menu, but when I ordered it on a past visit, the mango was not ripe, and the ratio of tuna to everything else was off. I'm not a fan of the prawn crackers. I've also had the seared ginger tuna salad that while tasted fresh was bland. I'm not a fan of the peanut dressing. Wait staff and bartenders are nice. I don't think Moxies has one bartender that isn't good looking 😬 Nice eye candy if you are eating at the bar.
