Double Musky Inn is highly praised for its delicious Cajun food and exceptional service. The French Pepper Steak, scallop stuffed mushrooms, and various desserts like the Double Musky cake are standout dishes. The restaurant offers a cozy and eclectic atmosphere but may be challenging for those sensitive to tight spaces and noise. If you haven't been here you're missing out. I've loved it since the 80s and it's still the best steak I've ever had. Best Cajun food, best dinner rolls, best appetizers.... And while we were here at the busiest time of the year (Valentine's Day) they dealt with the crowds and hoards with style and patience. Really wonderful staff that deserve an ovation. The French pepper steak is amazing, highly recommend the scallop stuffed mushrooms. And you have to have the Double Musky cake or pie.

Fantastic restaurant with awesome decor. The French Pepper Steak and the Steak Tips were the star of the show, highly recommended! The jambalaya and the carrot cake were also great, while the strawberry lemonade was very refreshing!

The food is delicious, hands down. And on our most recent visit, had the best service we've ever had at the DM. However, if it has not been said anywhere else I'll say it here - do not dine in if you have issues with closed spaces, loud areas, dim lighting, and very tight seating. I forgot why it was that we changed to pick up orders only, this place can do bad things if you deal with anxiety.

A Girdwood Classic. The Pepper Steak is enormous and delicious, but was outdone at our table by the Prime Filet. The Beer Battered Halibut was delicious and a great shareable. Worth the price, but only just. Will be back!

Decor and good food. A cozy cabin with fun decorations and a menu themed on Cajun staples. A flare for the absurd in all the wall covered bricabrac and a selection of hearty food in large portions. Outstanding servers with great recommendations and the dessert tray comes right to your table. I was too full to get dessert so I’ll just have to come back.

The place is very popular! They don't take reservations. You just come and put your name on the list if it's full. You can wait in the lounge and have a drink and appetizers. It's a fun atmosphere with nostagic items, photos, and things all over the restaurant from floor to ceiling. There was good music and good food. Really busy place.

100% worth the drive from Anchorage. We got there 30 minutes early and where 3rd in line. The food came out fast for our table size and staff where kind and helpful. The portions were big and everything on our table exceeded expectations and dessert was the cherry on top.

The food was amazing, but honestly, I can't say enough good things about the service. It's odd to say that is the star of the show. But truly, it was impressive to watch them juggle an entirely full house while also being attentive, kind, and generally available if anything was needed.
