My Daughter and I came for my birthday brunch, and the food was amazing! We shared the fried green tomatoes app, then she had an Eggs Hemingway and I had the Gouda Shrimp and Grits with Conecuh sausage, which is the best sausage ever! We finished it with the White Chocolate Bread Pudding, which was the best bread pudding we ever had. We loved it all and will be back!

The rum punch was good. It had a distinct taste that was unique and I enjoyed that. The lobster and shrimp pasta was ok. The pasta and sauce was delicious. The menu says it comes with a lobster tail but I received little bits of claw meat. The shrimp were unseasoned and had a bland flavor which really took away from the dish. The location and restaurant are great but it was loud, so this might not be the best place if you are looking for a more quiet location to talk while you eat.

We were pleasantly surprised. Always heard of it but never gone. Lamb chops were cooked just right, tender and flavorful. Armadillo eggs nice and spicey. Will definitely go again.

I came in with a warm and welcoming greeting. I was going to get a table but Taylor welcomed to her bar with her amazing personality & she made my brunch and experience 10/10 ! Food suggestions and drink was all great

Let's dive into my experience at Cork & Cleaver in Montgomery. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming, and the service was top-notch, making us feel special. We kicked off with Armadillo Eggs and Fried Green Tomatoes as appetizers. Both were a delicious start, setting a high bar for the meal. For my entree, I chose the Lunch Portion Lobster and Shrimp Pasta. The dish was a delightful surprise, slightly sweet but packed with flavor, and they were generous with the lobster – a real treat. My boyfriend opted for the Pork Cheek Tacos with fries. Each taco was a blend of rich, savory flavors, a testament to their culinary craft. And you know what really sealed the deal for me? They serve Pepsi, my absolute favorite. It's like they knew exactly what I wanted. In summary, Cork & Cleaver isn't just about good food; it's an experience that makes you feel right at home. If you find yourself in Montgomery, make sure to give it a try. It's a place where every dish is thoughtfully prepared and served with a smile.

This was my fourth time eating here and I will have to say that it has really gone down hill ver the past couple of years. We ordered the charcuterie board, bottle service mimosa, feta spinach omelette, chicken and waffles, the eggs Benedict and two sides of Gouda grits.. The charcuterie board was actually really good, we were upset with the bottle that we purchased because it was only the bottle that came out and it got warm within the next 30 minutes. So there is no type of container that comes in to keep your bottle cold. My friend did not eat her omelette because the eggs were extremely runny in her omelette. My chicken for the chicken and waffles was flavored Very well. However, The waffles are much like Eggo waffles… Super thin and not really fluffy. In addition, my dish was soaked in syrup. When it came to the grits, my friend had hers come out piping hot… You could see the steam coming from them (That’s what we like) Mine they came out and they were extremely room temperature, some might even label them as cold. I don’t see how this is possible as both of our orders came out at the same time. The waiter was all right, it seemed like he was the only one working on the weight staff for the entire morning. Mind you, we were there on a Sunday morning. He would only come by our table every 25 minutes or so. Needless to say, we were not really happy with our food And we will not be returning.

By far the worst resturant snd staff i ha e ever been to racist and unprofessional first all my food tasted like water and it was uncooked and unseasoned presentation was on 100 flavor zero I asked for my refund because I got food poisoning and they have yet to give me a runaround. They constantly hang up the phone catching attitude and lying said they’re going to get the manager or the owner. This establishment would never have my business again and for personal recommendation infusion lounge Better it’s only five minutes away.

Always a good spot to swing by for a meal that feels fancy. The menu changes from time to time so always worth checking back. Whatever seafood pasta they have is always a hit and the steaks are tasty. Good wine selection, and plenty of mixed drinks and beer to choose from too.
