Texas de Brazil - McAllen

Evelyn our waitress and Kaitlyn the manager were amazing. They genuinely cared about our experience at Texas de Brazil. As first timers we really enjoyed the entire evening. The food was so delicious. They had a huge variety of meats being served straight from the kitchen to our table. The meat was tender and seasoned to perfection. The Pork to me was a dry but other than that one choice of meat all of them were good. The leg of lamb and Bacon wrap meats, garlic seasoned meats were my favorite. The salad and soup bar was not your typical restaurant style salad bar. Their salad bar was top notch with fresh veggies, fruits and soups and cheese bread / pan de queso. Texas de Brazil is now my favorite restaurant.

From cheesy bread to mashed potatoes, platano macho , French fries. It was overwhelming but in a good way. Truly feasted on all the amazing foods they have to offer. Beautiful place to celebrate special occasions.

My buddie Leo said this place was good so had to check em out. The food was great, there rolls where delicious. It's a meat buffet. You serve your sides and the servers bring the meat to you and you decide if you Wana taste it or no. Tried almost everything except the lamb and pork. You have can have it rare all all the way cooked. Would go again

Every time we come to Texas de Brazil the experience is always phenomenal. So it's beautifully decorated and the staff is always so polite and friendly. The cheese bread is so cheesy and bready, it is such a delicious start to the meal. My husband always has to hold me back from them. The selection of meat is amazing, my favorite is the picanha-so flavorful and tender. I ate more of the au gratin potatoes more than any other thing on this trip. If you love salads and veggies like myself then you can leave satisfied only having eaten from the salad bar. I always get so excited on my first trip to the salad bar and I accidentally turn my salad into soup. Thankfully it's never ending trips to the salad bar here. We celebrated my husband's birthday and they decorated his dessert plate very nicely. My son ordered a chocolate cake because when it's someone's birthday in our family it's everyone's birthday.

I am never going back to this restaurant again. The management is absolutely horrible. My family and I go there all the time and we always pay for what we order. On Father’s Day, we had let our server know that I will be ordering the salad like we always do and my husband likes to order meat. I do not like to eat meat and our server said that’s fine but then the manager came to our table and told us that if she catches us sharing meat that she would charge me .I never have felt so offended The manager was so rude. I cannot believe she told me that .I always ordered the salad when I go there . After that, I haven’t gone there in months this time I just decided to go with my family. Everything seemed OK. Service was not that great and when we ask for the bill, we let the server know that I’d order the salad as always, and my husband orders a meat . The manager came running asking how old my toddler is , so she can charge me. I told her that my daughter is only two years old. if she was a good Manager she would have seen that my daughter didn’t even eat anything just the bread because she’s only two years old. She was the same manager as last time. I’m not sure what this manager problem is, but I had had it with the disrespect, and I am never going back to this restaurant!!!

Every single thing brought out was super raw…even after taken back and cooked a little more…still raw. Our waitress would skip our table and get lost somewhere and I had to keep waiving her down for water. Needless to say we will not return for another anniversary, birthday or any other celebration! My hubs did like the mojito though the mint was a little over muddled.
