I was a little hesitant to bring my kids here since their palates aren’t exactly refined, but they completely surprised me—they devoured every bite! Not a single chicken tender was left on their plates. My wife had the short rib tacos, and I went with the Palaminos Chicken, both of which were outstanding. One of the highlights for me was the Mortal Day cocktail, which was literally set on fire—definitely a showstopper that caught my kids’ attention. The atmosphere and food were the best match I’ve experienced at any restaurant since moving to the Valley. Service was also top-notch. The waitstaff was incredibly knowledgeable and considerate, making the entire experience even better. Whether you’re looking for a great date night spot or a place to gather with friends, I’d absolutely recommend this place. Amazing food, great vibes, and an all-around fantastic experience!

I had the pleasure of dining at Palominos Steakhouse in Mission, Texas, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The ambiance is undeniably elegant, setting a high-end tone that perfectly complements the menu offerings. Plates range from $60-$100+ per person, and the quality of the food justifies the price point. The ribeye, in particular, was outstanding—one of the best I’ve ever had. However, there were a couple of details that, in my opinion, fell short of the otherwise exceptional standard. The menu is accessed via a QR code on a small plaque at the table. While I understand the convenience and modern approach, it gave the impression of cost-cutting, which felt a bit out of place in such a refined setting. Additionally, water service could have been more thoughtful. My initial request for water resulted in a 16oz bottle being brought to the table. Upon further request, I was provided with a pitcher of water, which seemed to be reserved for the staff. Additionally, I noticed that other patrons were being served 12oz Coke Cans, which again is out of place in such a refined setting. That said, the food and atmosphere made the evening worthwhile, and I would certainly recommend Palominos to others. Despite these small misses, I would gladly return for another visit to enjoy their exceptional steaks and elegant environment.

Had the pleasure of dinning out with my husband. First time here and was easily able to make a reservation for a Sunday evening, same day. The appetizer came out, the oversized tortilla chip pictured. The presentation was beautiful, however the functionality of it, not so much. You have to crack it with your fingers and it comes with multiple mini dips to try which is fun but using your fingers? The atmosphere is upscale/steak house. Finger foods don’t pair well with that theme. And it made such a mess on the table every time you cracked it. The menus were a QR code which is always nice, the font could’ve been a bit bigger. The menu wasn’t clear on what all is included in your choice of meat and or food you order. So when we ordered our meal, it came with mash potatoes and mushrooms. We wouldn’t have ordered sides had we’d know that in advance. The desserts were delicious! We went with cheesecake! If you’re going ask for Ricardo! It was a pleasure being served by him! Always around when you need him and he won’t let your drink go empty! Bonus points for his charming personality!

The service was really good and waitress Ricardo was very friendly and shared some of his favorite dishes with us as first time visitors. However, the food was very disappointing specially for the amount I paid to be served such bad quality cooked steak. I ordered a Tomahawk steak medium rare and it was served absolutely raw. Ricardo immediately took action when he saw it and noticed that it was not cooked to the level we requested at all. However due to it being cut during the serving process and recooked the steak lost all of its flavor and natural moisture. We ended up with a dry steak with no flavor and the bill was over $200, so this truly bothered me a ton. I just believe that in order to charge an amount like this the quality has to match the high ticket price. As a first time visitor to this restaurant establishment I will most likely not be returning to this steakhouse. I expected a perfectly medium rare cooked steak, with great flavor, as it was not cheap at all and the quality was totally under delivered. I am honestly very disappointed with the food quality experience, and wish they would had simply offered a new steak because sending it back to recook only made the steak dry and loose all of its flavor. So if this happens to you make sure to request an entire new steak because the flavor will not be worth the price & you will most likely be very upset like me.

The restaurant is gorgeous! Has a great vibe and atmosphere. I ordered the guacamole con ribeye. This could honestly be a meal. It’s served with fresh and hot tortillas. We got it as an appetizer and me and my daughters devoured it 😋 I also got the cucumber lemonade and it was delish! My kids lived the chicken tenders and fries. We order vanilla ice cream that came with caramel popcorn and chocolate drizzle and a waffle cone. Super cute and yummy. Jose was our waiter and he was amazing! Everyone who came to our table to bring food or drinks was fantastic. I will definitely be back!

I recently visited Palominos for a friend's birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Ricardo, our waiter, went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional dining experience. He was not only friendly and attentive but also took the time to highlight some of the best dishes on the menu, making our selection much easier. His recommendations were spot on, and the food did not disappoint! The dishes were beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re there for a special occasion or just a night out, Palominos offers an outstanding dining experience that I highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!
