A very nice and filling shrimp and salad buffet with a few fried oysters added in today as a guest of my sister, to share lunch with her at her financial advisor groups' annual gathering, with the Carlin Financial Group from Friendswood, TX.

Our family had a beautiful time at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the kids menus provided great variety and portion size. Our family will return when back in the area.

The waiters are very nice at this spot. There is also great variety in the menu, and the food we tried was pretty good, but pretty spicy. We tried crab stuffed mushrooms, seafood pasta (also was a bit sour), crawfish combo, and some raw oysters. The pasta was a bit sour, but the oysters were very good and enormous.

Tommy's has old school class and elegance. Service is excellent. Food is very good. Happy Hour is great and every Tueday it's half off oysters. The oysters are fresh, shucked at the bar, very good and genuinely from Houston. You wont regret going here, You might even become a regular!

First of all, a very friendly and welcoming restaurant. We sat at a high top in the bar area. A sweet waitress waited on us and she was a drink master, she made my cosmos so yummy. The food is DELICIOUS, amazing flavors and high quality ingredients. The fresh baked bread is so soft and yummy and oil is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. We will be back! We’ve been here so many times now, I just add new photos to the review if it’s something new we ate and I remember. The friendly welcoming staff has held true every visit. The manager is amazing and friendly, always checks on all us customers. The wait staff have a dress code and it really elevates the experience. We are usually here early so never have an issue getting a table but we brought friends here for Happy Hour recently who wanted to try it after hearing us talk about it and we found out you need a reservation on a Friday night. Tommy’s was packed, and rightly so! We got lucky and got a table that night so our friends could try it, but did have to wait a bit for it. They had open tables but not enough wait staff. We ate here for Houston restaurant week and the food was amazing, that was the first time I tried the crème brûlée and Tommy’s is the best I’ve ever had, so creamy, not overly sweet, and the shell is crunchy. We got some different plates last time that were amazing, seafood cooked to perfection and seasoned deliciously. I got the broiled seafood and they ask how you’d like it cooked which I’ve never been asked before but really appreciate. They suggest medium but I asked for medium well because I don’t like any wet or squishy seafood, I like mine more done. It was phenomenal.

When we arrived, I got the vibe that this restaurant wasn't for us, but we went anyway. We were asked if we had reservations I sad no and was offered a high top in the bar area. It took a little time for someone to come over. Finally a server came over brought us water. We ordered. The stuffed Jalapeño were ok, kinda cold inside, but I ate one. The we ordered the fried seafood platter, it was awful. The fish was supposed to be catfish. I asked I guess he was a manager what type of fish it was and he said catfish. The worst catfish I ever tasted. One of the shrimp wasn't fresh. The calamari was soft, soggy and very greasy. The oysters weren't seasoned. I wanted to complain but my husband said no because we were the only black people there and he didn't want them to think we wanted something for free. We paid the check and left. I read all the reviews before we went and that's the reason we went. Never again. Save your money unless you like unseasoned bad fried seafood. I did like the female server in the bar area. It was Valentines Day and I was excited about this place. Very disappointed.

We took a group of 10 and had an excellent experience overall. Our server, Paul was very attentive, professional and knowledgeable. He even introduced us to other restaurant staff and management - It gave us a great family vibe! We will definitely be returning soon
