Hubby and I went for the first time. He ordered the ocean grill platter with grill grouper, shrimp and scallions. He didn’t like the grouper due to it being too greasy and tough. But he loved everything else. I ordered the coconut shrimp and I was in love! I enjoyed the Pina colada sauce with it and it made the dish!! I will definitely order it again.

Parmesan trout is really good, cool place. Update: tried chicken Havana upon recommendation from Demisha, who is fantastic. See picture. Tastes even better than it looks. Great service and awesome food!

A Culinary Delight at South Shore Grille! I recently dined at South Shore Grille and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. I ordered the blackened grouper accompanied by sweet potato fries and Cuban black beans, and I was blown away by the quality of the meal. Firstly, the temperature of the food was perfect, ensuring that every bite was as enjoyable as the last. The texture of each dish was spot on, with the grouper cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. As for the flavor, it was nothing short of amazing; each bite burst with deliciousness, leaving me craving more. One of the highlights of my dining experience was the incredible value for the price paid. Considering the quality and quantity of the food served, I found the pricing to be very reasonable. Are you getting at least 2 servings of fish per week? Sometimes, it is hard because a lot of times, fish is not fresh and tastes "fishy." At South Shore Grill, fresh fish is cooked to perfection! I love the fish tacos but request tartar over the menu sauce. The wait staff were friendly and the environment is nice. Drop by!

We used to love this place and always had great, friendly service and received good food. After our experience this weekend, we will not be back. Our waitress was very rude and showed no interest in serving us. It took her 30 minutes to even acknowledge our presence and take our drink order. It took another 20 minutes to finally bring my drink. No apologies were made for the wait, and no attempt to take our order for even an appetizer was made. Finally, in order to place an order for the appetizer, I had to find her. It came out another 30 minutes after and at which point, I asked for another waitress. That said, the food was good, but the rude service was inexcusable. We never even as much received one refill on our drinks and were full from eating the appetizer because we were so hungry at that point. I don’t know what has happened here because the service used to at least be friendly. We won’t go where we aren’t appreciated.

We had the Great Greek Salad with a cup of Roasted Corn & Crab Chowder. The crab was lacking in the chowder & the salad was not very Greek for a Greek salad. Usually red lettuce in a Greek Salad is used if any lettuce at all… not iceberg lettuce. We also had the Blackened Mahi-mahi with a side Caesar salad . The flavor of the seasonings were good on the Mahi-mahi but it was a little dry & chewy. We had the Key Lime Pie for dessert.

A sandwich that’s supposed to come with a special type of mustard -the Cuban (which I’ve had before and enjoyed) was served completely dry. When I asked for the mustard, they brought out regular mustard instead, which wasn’t the same at all or what was listed on the menu. The meat was extremely dry like it has been sitting out in the open for some time. It was inedible. That said, there are still some positives. I like the chicken-fried chicken, the smashed garlic potatoes, and their flash-fried green beans—those dishes have consistently been good. I’ve also noticed that meals are taking longer to come out, and the flavors don’t seem as fresh or well-prepared as they used to be. It makes me wonder if they’ve switched to cheaper ingredients. On the bright side, the atmosphere is nice for relaxing, especially with their full-service bar. Their Old Fashioneds are great, and I still enjoy chilling there. However, the food and service have become inconsistent—sometimes great, other times not so much. Same with the service, sometimes it is really good, other times it is like we don't exist. Overall, while there are positives, it feels like the quality has gone downhill lately. I hope they can get back to the level of consistency they once had.

We are regular lunch customers and I needed a place to celebrate a wedding anniversary. My wife is particular about prime rib and I had a good feeling about South Shore Grill because of their consistent quality. Her prime rib was cooked perfectly, customer service is great, & cocktails are tasty. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience on an important celebration!
