My husband and I dined at Opus for dinner to try their Tomahawk Steak Platter. It was served with large portions of asparagus, roasted potatoes, mushrooms, and whole roasted carrots. It was cooked to perfection and more than we could finish for a very reasonable price. Our waiter, Martin provided exceptional service and made great recommendations. The asparagus dip topped with grilled shrimp and wine pairings were wonderful additions. The view of the harbor was unobstructed and the restaurant was spacious and provided a quiet space with had nice touches such as table lighting and electronic menus. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Wife down from Boston. Let's just start by saying Kate is an awesome bartender so very friendly and helpful! Though not on menu the nite we were there; she was able to get me a tomahawk steak; both my wife and i loved it! I didn't need to use any sauces or sale / pepper; the steak was just that dam good! We split an onion soup; and if it wasn't the best darn onion soup I ever had i would be a fiber! Wish we were staying at that hotel just to have dinner with Kate again 😁 Thank you Kate for the awesome service and the slice of bday cake👍

My husband and I ate here for dinner earlier this week. We were in the area for a few days on our pre-anniversary getaway. The reviews on google looked good, so we decided to give it a try. We were initially afraid that we might be under-dressed. (We had on fairly casual attire.) Although it was a very nice and elegant atmosphere, we didn't feel out of place. The restaurant was classy, but still felt comfortable and not stuffy. Others were dressed nice, but not too fancy. There were also many people sitting at the bar who were dressed pretty casual as well. Our server was great. She was very attentive and answered any questions we had. The food was amazing! The bread was soo soft and delicious! Our crab cake appetizer was soo good! My husband ordered the prime rib with shrimp and I ordered the snapper with shrimp. Both were very good and the portions were a nice size I took home a slice of key lime pie, which was suggested by our sever. I enjoyed it at our hotel later that evening. The manager stopped by our table to verify how our meal and service was, etc. The area was very nice and we enjoyed looking at the water and lights from the window while we ate. It was a great experience and we would eat here again if in the area.

Nice environment. Food was pretty good and the view was even better. Service was kinda slow but shouldn't take away from the overall experience. The dessert was ok. My wife ordered the Bananas Foster. She loved it but I'm not a big dessert eater.

The food experience was disappointing, with the artichoke lacking flavor and poorly paired with a buttered cream sauce. The red snapper had a fishy taste, almost as if it had been frozen for a year. While the ribeye was tender, it lacked the desired charred or flame-grilled taste. Overall, the dishes were bland. However, the highlight of the evening was the bartender, whose cocktails and wine list recommendations were exceptional. She recited the entire beer list by heart. Although overworked as she had to make the drinks for the entire restaurant by herself, she still managed to tend to us. The espresso martini was delightful, and the Tempranillo had a rich earthy flavor that stood out. The owners need to match the quality of the bar to the food.

Atmosphere & service-excellent…I ordered the Cajun Shrimp & Grits …yummy, my husband ordered the ribeye steak medium rare but it was cooked medium well…he said it still tasted good but the vegetables w/ it were kind of bland, also ordered the Creme Brûlée…YUM! Couldn’t finish everything and they packaged everything up for us to go…well me, my husband finished his steak. If you do not like sweet drinks then you will enjoy theirs…i prefer sweeter than what they have but they weren’t bad. The dip for the bread was bitter…would NOT recommend!

Went out to eat with my wife and kids for my birthday. Service was not good as soon as we were done with the main course the waiter showed up with the check asking if we were ready. It’s almost like they did not want us there and they were rushing us out. We have dined at quite a few places like this and way better in various cities around the world but never service like this. No matter how good their food was I will never return or recommend this to anyone.

Service alone warranted a 5 star review. Ask for Anthony as your waiter. Started off with a Sangria and it was the best I've ever had. They soak the fruit for two days. We had the lobster risotto with scallops and the fried asparagus as our appetizers. Both items were top of the line. The 4 entrees we ordered were the chicken marsala, pan fried red snapper, veal new orleans, and the filet. Everything was good except for the Brussel sprouts. They cook it with a vinegar base which makes it bitter. That is the only complaint. The 2 best things we ordered was the filet and the blackened scallops that came with the risotto...these are must order. The desserts were fabulous. The 2 that were the best were the bananas foster and the creme brulee. I love that the manager went by all the tables and asked how everything was.
