The top 7 menu items named in all the top reviews do not include the steak. That should tell you something. I ordered the ribeye, medium well, with the apple wood smoked bacon Mac and cheese. The steak was completely burnt on one side...I mean black and tasted like charcoal. The cut of meat wasn't much thicker than a piece of cheap cardboard. When the waitress came by to check on us I told her my steak was burnt and she offered to have them cook me another, but I didn't want it. The manager came over and apologized. I didn't want another steak because I knew it wouldn't be much better than the one I had even if it was cooked right. This was our first visit to Longhorn. Texas Roadhouse is our favorite steakhouse, but they didn't open for another hour. Next time we will wait. All that being said, the service was phenomenal! The salad and sides were good. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and he said it was the best he ever had. Now we know why the top 7 items mentioned in all the 4 and 5 star reviews didn't include the steak. This is not a steakhouse. It's an overpriced, good salad and mashed potatoes restaurant with really great service.

08/15/2024 Lunch. As usual, my wife and I shared a steak today for lunch. We shared the 20 ounce Outlaw Ribeye and a salad. As always, the steak was delicious and a delight to eat. Adewunmi, our server (aka Thomas) today was excellent (5 star good). Ask for him if you want great service. He made a very good meal an excellent experience for us today, and I wanted to make you aware of him for when you're ready to go there for a steak. Another nice thing was that the kitchen split the meal in half for us. And divided the steak and potato onto separate plates before serving us. Lunch was 5 star all the way today. From the food to the service, our meal was uniquely satisfying. The only drawback was that the music was a bit loud, but we were having too good of a time to mention it. Rating first impressions: Excellent: Uniquely satisfying. V Good: Better than I expected. Avg: An everyday meal. Good food. Fair: Below par. Dirty & or flies.

My server David was very polite, although he was busy he was still very attentive. However my food wasn’t prepared the way I asked and it was a bit salty for my liking and Jeremy the manager would rather argue with me about how it was too much flavor and then be petty by sending the remake out all individual. I will be back but if I have an issue I will just send it back and have it removed from my ticket if he is here.

Food is wonderful! Service was great excepted had a hard time getting our check. Our waitress disappeared we waited about 20 minutes to get our check. Finally another person gave us our check

Everyone was polite and nice. The food was delicious. This is a pricey place. I did not need steak sauce for my steak. No one used it at our table. The fried okra is the best I've ever had. The bathroom was clean.

For how much money I spent ($100+) I expected better service... Was not impressed by our waitress, Bethany. After we ordered we hardly saw her. She walked by several times avoiding eye contact. Eventually we had to get another tables waitress to get us refills. Other than that, the steak was great but the asparagus was raw.

Had an excellent lunch. My son always bring me to different restaurants, but Longhorn my favorite. Brussel sprouts amazing

Went here 6 months ago and got a steak that was under cooked and raw when it was supposed to be closer to medium. They fixed it and the manager even came by to check on us that time so it didn’t bother me much that time. Came a second time yesterday and got a similar steak that has a thick cut. Asked for medium-rare which should have just a little pink inside. This steak was completely raw other than the outside which was well done with spots of black where it was cooked at high heat. They took the steak and when it came back it was extremely well done on the outside to the point I had to force my fork into it, the inside was finally cooked correctly, but because of the high heat they were using it ruined the outside. You have to use lower heat and cook thick steaks slower. Manager didn’t even come by to check if everything came out well. Won’t be getting steaks from here again, even though it’s a “steakhouse,” since this is the second time it’s happened. On top of the bad food, the service as extremely rushed and felt horrible. The server not once asked if we needed anything, he just brought our food, dropped it off, and walked away. Even though this was a busy time for the restaurant, that doesn’t give you the right to just rush everyone who comes in to dine just so they finish eating quickly to make room for more people. Quality should come first over quantity. I’ve been to several LongHorn Steakhouses in other cities and always had good food and service. But this is the only one I did not have a good experience, and the second time was worse than my first.
