We had lunch here after visiting Ruby Falls and it was wonderful. The bread service is hush puppies and jalapeno cornbread which were so good, then we had the fish and chips and a bowl of gumbo. The gumbo is close to the top of my favorite gumbos I've ever had, the sausage and crawfish were so good!! The fish and chips were really good as well, we didn't expect it to be so good in fact! The view is worth eating there, right on the river with boats coming in and out, it made lunch more fun! The other food looked great as well, and the specials sounded so good! We will be back!

Wowie!!! We got two of the daily specials, and they did not disappoint. Great wine, and great service. If you come after dark, the river is not very visible from the window, so definitely come at dusk. Will definitely come back if I return to Chattanooga!

Let's start off with the positives, the stuffed mushrooms were great, the atmosphere was nice, they even opened the exterior windows to provide a great view and plenty of airflow. The scallops were absolutely overpriced for their quality and quantity, this year was not great but they were at least cooked properly. The french fries are large and steak fries, they were all right in quality. The old fashioned was pretty basic, nothing to call home about. All in all. All what makes this place worth visiting is the atmosphere and service, everything else is okay.

Freakin delicious seafood and a priceless view. Nothing beats riverfront dinning. They actually were supposed to make us wait for a table but worked things so we could go straight to a table. I had the swordfish which was very well balanced and fantastic 👌 Paid parking is annoying but not ridiculous. Plus you can enjoy a beautiful river walk after you've stuffed yourself with seafood.

This restaurant rivals Michelin star restaurants in NYC. The food was seasoned well and cooked to absolute perfection! The atmosphere and view were amazing! Don't walk....run to this restaurant and have a ribeye and a cocktail! You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Keaton, for a great experience!

Overall great quality Chattanooga restaurant, especially if you're looking for a place with a view, on the Tennessee River, and a wide menu including seafood! The food has been excellent every time! While some things like cocktails, specials, or main plates may seem a little pricey, they are good quality. There is plenty of seating, and it's kid-friendly offering a kids menu and coloring. The kids (and adults) like having the complimentary cornbread and hush puppies! Some of the seafood items for kids are the fish sticks, which we got, and popcorn shrimp. Highlights for me are the crab bisque (really good), stuffed shrimp, and really like the shrimp po boy, garlic mashed potatoes, and firecracker shrimp. The fried pimento cheese balls are worth trying, too! My husband has liked the nice salads with large portions. FYI parking in the lot is paid, but there is available street parking which is pay or free after certain hours.

This afternoon my wife and I decided to try staying downtown for date day. Upon arriving the paid parking will range roughly $8. As we sat at the bar we looked over the menu several times deciding what we would like as a appetitizer, main course and drinks. Both bar maiden's were very attentive in this process at the time. We ended up choosing the blackend shrimp salad, cup of gumbo, cup of she crab and deep fried shrimp with steak fries.....as we waited respectively for one of the bar maiden's to take other orders we enjoyed the scenery. After taking our orders within just afew minutes we had our soups and appetitizer of crawfish and spinach dip with some great bread. As our entrées arrived I began to notice that the bar maiden's were very attentive to guest that were drinking alcohol, but not so attentive to guest drinking water or tea like myself. The presentation of food was remarkable aswell as delicious all the way around. I'm also a bourbon guy and love higher end bourbons and know the worth of many they choose to stock. The price per pour of their (bottom shelf) bourbons rake at minimum %120 more than what the entire bottle is worth. I have provided pictures of our food and do recommend enjoying the beautiful landscape and food here, but suggest dining outside/or booth as the waiters and waitresses seemed so much more attentive to their customers.

This was our first visit to Scottie’s on the river. It is in a prime location for scenery. The atmosphere and service were excellent. We ordered fish & chips along with a shrimp po boy sandwich. The po boy had a very fresh bun and the remoulade was delicious on the large shrimp. The food was overall very good. The hush puppies and cornbread were pretty good also.
