Ruth's Chris Steak House

Special note: they are strict about their business casual dress code. One of us was wearing a cap (bad hair day) and they specifically asked him to take off his hat when seating us. Good/Great: The night started with the host sprinkling birthday decor on our table, which was such a cute addition to our birthday celebration. Then an introduction to the restaurant by our server, Devon. He explained to us the history of the restaurant and of the original proprietor. Devon continued to provide us a lot of information regarding wine, meal ingredients, meal preparation, etc. He was so friendly and pleasant. Whoever planned the seating was smart because Devon had plenty of time to speak with us and socialize and make us feel so welcomed. He also had wonderful suggestions and honestly everything he suggested was perfect. He suggested getting the steaks “Texas” style which is with a rich sauce. He also recommended the potatoes au gratin which I could’ve had as a meal all by itself. The sweet potato casserole with ice cream isn’t technically a dessert option but he recommended it as his favorite “dessert.” Bad but honestly not that bad: the jumbo lump crab cake could’ve tasted better. It wasn’t bad but the flavor wasn’t as complex as the other foods. The portioning of the crab in the cakes though was amazing. The creamed spinach was meh. I think we took one bite of it and left it alone. Overall an incredible birthday experience. Special shout out to Devon. I highly recommend asking for him.

Dined here around 4:30 on 2/15 and the service and food was awesome. Our server brought us a ipad with pictures and full ingredient list of the menu items. I had the Garlic Crusted Sea Bass and the Spicy Shrimp as an appetizer. Bother were delicious and I would order again. Overall a great experience and will definitely return in the future.

Jordan was the best, he was very attentive and was checking up on us quite often. I highly recommend Ruth Chris for a romantic dinner with a loved one. The steaks literally melt in your mouth, I will definitely be back.

Neither of us had ever been to this steak house so she made recommendations and we had no disappointments! Everything was so delicious and she was so patient with us and checked on us throughout making sure we liked everything. She also took the time to write "Happy anniversary" on our dessert which was so thoughtful! We will definitely be back! P.S. If anyone is doubting if they should get the Oscar as a topping on their steak, do it! My husband got it and I wish I did the same
