Fantastic experience from top to bottom! Everything about this place was great, but the people are what really make Blue Orleans stand out. Keisha was our server and was absolutely delightful. Chef Mike works wonders in that kitchen. Everything we ordered tasted wonderful and the presentation was excellent! The gator tail bites were the surprise favorite. 10/10, we will be coming back!

The food was fantastic. I had the shrimp and andouille sausage with cheese grits. The grits were cooked perfectly, the cheese and salt were balanced perfectly with the Smokey sausage. My husband had fried shrimp and catfish and he loved it. They also have a sweet and sour collard greens. I’ve never tasted anything like it and they were amazing. Our waitress was new and still learning, but she was on top of our needs, had great recommendations, and was a joy to be around

Everything about this place is worth the visit. If you want good soul food and absolutely phenomenal service, this is the place! My boyfriend and I had been on the road for 10 hours and we were both exhausted and starving. We ask if they had room for two more, towards the end of the night, and the chef and server welcomed us in with open arms. The food was to die for and honestly was the best soul food we’ve ever had. The server was unbelievably sweet and the owner was willing to stay a little later just so we could try his delicious food. Please if you are debating on going don’t debate any longer. It is 10/10 worth the visit. The whole staff works their butts off while still being genuinely some of the kindest most welcoming people I’ve ever met. Please go support them. From now on, anytime we head through Chattanooga we will be stopping here :D

Our family of four visited this cute New Orleans cuisine restaurant after reading great reviews online while we were visiting Chattanooga for a sports tournament. We went early for dinner on a Friday evening and plenty of seating was available (it became more crowded as the night progressed). We were greeted by our server, Sidney, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. The ambience was great and the food was even better. Although the fried gator was highly recommended, we weren’t feeling particular “daring” this evening so we started with crab cakes and seafood gumbo. Neither disappointed. The crab cakes were flavorful with a bit of spice and the gumbo was thick and filling. Our entrees included shrimp and grits, a shrimp po’ boy, shrimp d’orleans pasta, and chicken tenders (with a side of red beans and rice) for my less adventurous younger one. The portions were generous and the meals were extraordinary. We left with our bellies full and happy. So if you are in Chattanooga and looking a great restaurant with some authentic NOLA based food, Blues Orleans is the spot!

I ordered a strawberry lemon drop, the gumbo ya-ya, and the southern comfort. I went on a Friday around 6 pm, and it was not busy at all, and was able to get a table very quick. Everything was delicious. The portions were on the smaller side in my opinion compared to the actual price. I left with a full stomach and leftovers, so the prices were worth it to me. The staff were also very nice. Also, at first they gave me wrong gumbo at first, but were very accommodating and quickly fixed the issue.

Came in to town on a business trip. One of the ladies at my hotel recommended when I told her I wanted shrimp and grits. She was so right. Staff was great, owner was great and food was fantastic!! This is one of those spots that people need to check out for a great dinner. Very cute and great for a business meal or a romantic night out.
