We were skeptical at first because most of the reviews we read were very negative...but they were 100% WRONG! This was WITHOUT A DOUBT the ABSOLUTE BEST Hibachi dinner we have EVER experienced!!! Yes business is slow and it looked like they were closed from the outside, but once we got inside, we experienced IMMEDIATE service from a very cordial waitress. Drinks in hand within 5 minutes. Food being prepared within 10 minutes! The chef was very nice and skilled in the traditional hibachi style of cooking, including the traditional "egg rolls", "shrimp flips" and "volcano". Hottest sake I've ever tasted. The portions were the LARGEST we've ever received. We left with 3 boxes of take home goodness!!! Give Yamato a try if you are looking for a high quality, delicious and generally affordable hibachi experience!

Great show and food was good, but waitress taking our party of about 15 was not present after initial refills and taking orders. Actual chef had to stop what he was doing to get some drink refills. Don't think we saw her again before we left.

This place unfortunately has gone downhill. Had a party of 27 people and spent alot of money but none of us will be back unfortunately. Food was good but the prices and servers have turned away our buisness.

2/22/25 If I could leave zero or negative stars I would. DO NOT EAT HERE! We sat down and the whole table all the way around the grill is coated in grease. My daughter asked about an item in the menu and the waitress said “ I don’t know I don’t even work here, I was asked to come help out. Waited 2 hours. Then they said we ran outta noodles did we want rice? Waited 30 more minutes for the cook. Then the food was terrible. The rice had some kinda char on it. The stake was so tough you couldn’t cut it. We got charged gratuity. Our ticket was $139 bucks with a $20 tip. Crazy work!! Just keep scrolling!! Most definitely keep driving past this place!

I never write reviews but this place was so bad that I feel I need to write a public service announcement. Stay away! There is not one redeemable quality about this place. Staff are snotty, my filet was gray, and the shrimp was undercooked and cold. Every surface in the restaurant is coated with a thick layer of grease. This is not an exaggeration. Keep driving.

I’ve always head a great experience here! I’ve been going here for the past 10 years or so and never had a problem. Not sure where these other reviews are about, talking about sticky floors and the airflow. The food is always great & servers.

This was our 1st time to ever try this place and it was an enjoyable experience. Our chef was skilled and funny and kept us entertained throughout our meal. The food was cooked exactly how we asked and was very good. We upgraded to the fried rice and was very pleased with our choice. We ordered the steak and shrimp and the steak and chicken and the portions were plenty, combined with the rice and fresh grilled vegetables it made for a delicious meal. It was around $25 for each of the combo meals with the fried rice and we took leftovers home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good food and good entertainment! It is pretty noisy in there at times with the chief banging his spatulas on the grill and especially if someone in your party or in a party close to you has a birthday so if you have sensitive ears or have a infant who might want to sleep you might want to choose a different place.

Sticky floor, poor air flow, server needs training. waited a while for chef to cook at our table. Needs varieties of vegetables. The place needs an update.
