Customer Review Summary
The Winston offers a charming atmosphere with attentive service, making it ideal for date nights. The fillet and tuna are highlights, indicating a strong kitchen. The extensive whisky collection is a major draw for enthusiasts. However, the industrial design contributes to a loud ambiance, which can hinder intimate conversations. Some guests noted high prices and mixed reviews about the food quality, with complaints about salty dishes and cold appetizers. Brunch has received praise for delicious offerings like chicken and waffles with bourbon glaze. Overall, while experiences can vary, many diners appreciate the eclectic menu and effective service.

I had the pleasure of spending our weekly date night at this charming spot last Tuesday, and it was a truly enjoyable evening. The atmosphere was warm, and the service was attentive, making for a memorable experience. For dinner, I opted for the fillet, which was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My friend went with the tuna, and it was equally impressive, fresh and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The menu offers a great selection of dishes, but what stood out the most was their extensive whisky collection. Four pages of options made it clear they take their drinks seriously, and it's definitely worth exploring for whisky enthusiasts. If I had one critique, it would be the industrial design of the space. While modern, it does contribute to the ambiance becoming a bit loud, making it hard to carry on intimate conversations. That being said, the overall dining experience was fantastic, and the food more than made up for the noise. We’re already looking forward to returning, especially for brunch someday—this place clearly has much more to offer.

Outstanding service, calm atmosphere and the menu is eclectic and rare. I highly recommend the duck wings and the shrimp tacos. Also "My hands are Thai'd" drink is flavorful and custom. Highly recommend for the college crowd, adult crowd and a late night during the week few. The fire outside was enjoyable and make sure you look into the happy endings.

It’s very loud in there. I would’ve thought it was a bar with how it’s laid out. As far as menu, it reminds of me of like Pub W but not as good. We didn’t think kids were able to be in there, until I saw the high chairs. We went because we had a gift certificate. Would not come back otherwise. Our waitress was sweet but I could not hear a single word she said. Food is expensive for what it is. I mean, $16 for a burger and fries. Patty was overly salty. The chicken fried steak burger was thin. Our son’s kids meal, I didn’t expect much. It is just a frozen corn dog.

Had the American Burger and it was pretty good and was very juicy. Had a whiskey sour and was actually asked what kind of whiskey I wanted, be warned they DO use egg whites so if that isn't your thing be sure to mention it. It seemed like a decent family friendly place, lots of people in there but it didn't feel crowded.

Great food and service. I liked how eclectic the menu was and there was something for everyone. Look forward to visiting again and trying more dishes.

This was our first time eating here, and it was ok. I was expecting a better experience. Our waitress took our drink order, another server brought the drinks, but our waitress didn't return to take our food order. After 20 min, we had to ask another server to find our waitress so we could order. Eventually, another server brought our food, which had been sitting. My wife ordered a soup and salad, the salad was ok, the soup had good flavor but the cup was very small and it was cold by the time it got to the table. I had a pulled pork sandwich, which was good, but the meat was in a strange patty consistency. The truffle fries were not the best, maybe better if they were still warm. The sweet potato fries with honey and spices were pretty good, not something I'd had before, For the price and amount of wait staff, the service should have been better. The manager (maybe) came by to check on us a couple of times and was very kind. I wish now that I had told her about the cold food and poor service, but we just said we were fine. It's not really our type of place, but I'm sure others will have a better experience.

Decided to try this place out for brunch. It was delicious and the service was fantastic. I go the chicken and waffles and my husband got the breakfast sandwich. The bourdon glaze that came with the waffle was so good. We both made happy plates. We will be back to try this place out for dinner soon.

I got tomato soup and a grilled cheese. The soup was amazing! The bread was supposed to be sourdough (but I make this type of bread) and can confirm it definitely wasn't. It tasted like the normal white bread you can get in a grocery store. Atmosphere and service were both outstanding. Would recommend, just not the "sourdough".
