The food here is truly amazing! We were all surprised that it was that good! The steaks were cooked perfectly. The risotto is the best I’ve ever had. Both types of cheese in my salad were wonderful. It would be so much better that we could have some cake like chocolate cake and white cake as desserts. The waiter(dark hair with a mustache so sorry I didn’t remember your name) was also amazing. The only part that bothered us is that the bill for the drinks we ordered at the bar while we were waiting for our table, was not able to add on to our finally bill. Which is kinda weird. But in general, it was a lovely dinner.

Beautiful restaurant. Below the street level. The bartender, who served as our waiter was great, making excellent wines, selections and recommendations. Wonderful place - and although it says, it's a steakhouse, we did not order steak and didn't feel we had to. Just great, modern Italian.

Had dinner at Oliva Steakhouse. Rather trendy looking and inviting. Our server and back server were both great, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Good cocktail, beer, and wine list. Appetizers of braciole and risotto was great! Caprese salad. I did the Ribeye medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Sides of potatoes and grilled portabellos. Very good and we will be back.

Quite possibly my new favorite restaurant in Cleveland. We had a Timpano appetizer which is the standard by which all others must be judged. All four of our entrées were phenomenal. There are many many items I look forward to going back to this restaurant and ordering.

Went there for a bday party dinner. Cute place, pretty bad service. I saw our drinks sitting at the bar for about 10 minutes. So many times I had to raise my hand to get an attention from our server- I hated that. After the food came our server never came to ask us how was it. At least for people who order steaks I think it's unacceptable not to ask how is your steak especially after it's priced at $75,$120 etc. The best part- is their bread which they bring warm and it's really good and I wish that oil and butter which they bring with had more flavor. I ordered wild mushroom soup which came barely warm, shrimp appetizer which wasn't bad and I also I order potato which is listed as a side and sounded so good. Well huge disappointment- baked potato cut into round slices covered in some kind of cream with bits of bacon for $12- I don't recommend it. So overall I was hoping to love it but unfortunately won't be back.

We had dinner in Oliva Wednesday evening with some friends & wow did we have a good time. The food & its presentation is on another level! My friend was in town from Belgium so I wanted to show her a good time. She loved the food, the vibe & said it’s definitely her favorite restaurant now in Cleveland. Truly everything was 10/10!

My husband and I made a reservation for 2 at 5 pm and were greeted and seated immediately. Our server, Maurice/Morris (sorry, I'm not 100% sure) was very sweet and knowledgeable. He greeted us immediately with the drink and food menus. We ordered Quilt by Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, asparagi and gamberetti for appetizers, and the bone in ribeye steak, sachetti, and zucchini for our shared meal and side. The wine was spectacular and paired well with our entire meal. The appetizers were different, but very good. The soup came out hot and robust, and you can never go wrong with well seasoned jumbo shrimps. Our entrees, however, were portioned smaller than your average entree. We ordered the bone in ribeye medium rare and I'd say it was more medium and quite charred (see picture). It was also suppose to be 20 oz., according to our server, but it didn't look like it. Now, I know it shrinks when you cook it but it definitely did not resemble other shrunken 20 oz. steaks we've shared before. Nevertheless, we ate it and sadly, I could not shake the lingering taste of the charred steak. I was heavily disappointed by our steak experience here. The sachetti came with 3 maybe 4 homemade porcinis and definitely wasn't an entree portion. The side zucchini was fine; it came with chili spices and a lemon. I did share the charred comment with our server and he agreed it came out more charred than usual. My words were, "was the steak more charred than usual?" Quite disappointing because it is a steakhouse.... On the contrary, he did comp 2 desserts which were refreshing (see pictures) but it didn't give me a wow factor. Overall, it was an okay experience. Between our bottle of wine, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 1 side, we paid $213 (tip not included). I expected more for the price we paid, and I know we could've gone to a competitor steakhouse restaurant nearby and received more for the price we paid. 3/5

Excellent new addition to the Cleveland restaurant scene, this Italian steakhouse wowed. The ambiance is modern, elegant, and rustic. The space is a little cramped, but not too bad. The food was fantastic. I started with the Polpette di Guancia with was delicious. The demi glace was so flavorful and worked perfect with the goat cheese and beef neck. The asparagus soup with egg yolk and truffle was solid. The gnocchi was fluffy and was great with the gorganzola and creme fraiche sauce. And lastly, the tiramasu was an interesting deconstruction that tasted great. There was a big wine by the glass list and many good coctails, really enjoyed the bacon old fashioned. Service was pretty good, especially being opening day...should only get better from here. Didn't get any steak this time, but want to get back to try more. Definitely a place I want to get back to!
