My first visit to Salt in Long Branch, NJ, was an exceptional experience. The flavors were phenomenal, with the Korean BBQ flatbread and chicken Karaage making my tongue dance with delight. The high-end dining experience was complemented by the delicious table bread, which was a delightful start to the meal. And I can’t forget about the Japanese donuts for dessert, I should have ordered 2, it was so good. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, ensuring a memorable visit. Salt is a standout dining destination that I highly recommend.

They cleaned it after we pointed it out. We ordered an assortment of dishes to eat family style and each was excellent and served beautifully. We ordered our steak medium-rare and it came medium-well. We were hungry and it was still great so we devoured it. Our waiter looked busy all night while other waiters and the owner seemed to just be hanging around. Nobody checked on us after the food was delivered, so at the end I told our waiter that the steak was not as we ordered. He was totally indifferent; he really just ignored it. I wasn’t looking for a discount, but if you ask me how I want my $160 steak, I assume you care if it didn’t come that way. Then the bill came with 18% service fee. So great food and friendly enough staff, but you’re not eating in a place as fancy as the price.

Christina gave us top noch, extraordinary service, and was extremely helpful with recommending us the perfect dishes based on our requests. She really made our day. The short ribs and tuna explosion sushi were by far the best meat and sushi dishes we ever tasted. Our meal was worth every dollar. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good restaurant.

Best Kosher restaurant we’ve ever been too!! All food and drinks were delicious! We easily could’ve ordered another 10 items on the menu that looked delicious. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helped us pick what to order. Great experience we will definitely be back!
