First time attending steakhouse 22! And it did not disappoint! Everything from start to finish was great! Drinks, soups, salads, entries and dessert was fantastic! The restaurant was very well kept clean and had a great atmosphere. The service was spot on never waited too long for anything was attentive to our drinks and food requests! We ordered salads Caesar and garden style both Caesar and ranch dressings house made and very delicious. French onion soup was one of the best I've had! Our steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered to our liking great sear and flavor on the outside with a pink juicy center! Carrot cake for dessert was very good paired with an old fashioned! Fantastic dinning experience.

We had reservations, which is a must on a Saturday night. The place was full and a little loud, not the place to go for a romantic dinner. They had Cake Bread Chardonnay which is one my favorite wineries. I enjoy both their red and white wines. For dinner I ordered the small prime rib, which came with a very good cream of mushroom soup with just the right amount of mushrooms. The prime rib was large and cooked to a perfect medium rare and it was one of the best prime ribs I’ve had in a very long time. The best part of the evening was the dessert, a Sanders Fudge Cream Puff. The vanilla ice cream was delicious and the fudge and cream puff were sublime. It was large enough to share with my sister. The service was wonderful and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our table. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I'll stay by saying do not order the French onion soup. Very bland, onions undercooked. Now for the good. Our server was fantastic! Very sweet and attentive. For our appetizer we ordered oysters Rockefeller and they were the best I've ever had. So fresh and bursting with flavor. For dinner we ordered the Chateaubriand for 2. The filets were amazing. Tender, juicy and full of flavor. The Mashed potatoes were just ok, but the broccoli, asparagus and roasted tomatoes were very good. All in all our dining experience was very pleasant. Willl we go back? Oh hell yes! We're not gonna let a bad bowl of French onion soup keep us away. We just won't Order it next time.

I have been here a few times for dinner. The dining room is well designed, comfortable and clean. The wait staff is excellent. The steak is always good and cooked properly. The bread and cherry butter is good. My kids love thier chicken tenders. I'm not a fan of the mac and cheese but everything else we have ordered has been good.

Now, I don't go out to fancy, or near fancy places that much, but when I do, I expect a lot. I was not disappointed here. Steakhouse 22 has a very warm but very well lit atmosphere. It's open, but not noisy. Kelly, our waitress, was a pure delight. She was patient, helpful, polite, and all smiles. She was what a waitress or water should strive to be. Maybe she should give classes. I was here celebrating my birthday with my family. I began with a glass of "The Critic" Cabernet. It was dry, not sweet, but soft and full-bodied. It has Jimmy's of tobacco, dark berries, and earth. Perfect for the meal I was at the precipice of embarking upon . My meal began with the cream of wild mushroom soup, and escargot. The soup was just as described; seasoned very well, though my palate would have leaned towards a little more white pepper. But devine. A real treat! The escargot was prepared a way to which I was not accustomed. It was in a garlic butter, with a taste of mushroom, and topped with a small flaky biscuit. Very tasty, but my mind is still pondering possibilities. This, in no way discredits the chef. It was delicious. I'm fact, the last time I had them, I pulled them from their shells at the Chicago restaurant, Marché. Those were also delicious. I just wonder. I shared the Chateaubriand with my sister. It truly was a very tasty, and very tender cut of meat. The bearnaise sauce just added to it. The baked cheesed tomato, the duchesses potatoes, and all the veggies, combined for a rather filling and delightful meal, which of course, was well complimented by the wine I enjoyed. Also ordered by my family was the French onion soup, the filet mignon, and the bourbon salmon; all of which were raved about. For dessert, we shared a piece of carrot cake, a piece of tiramisu, and a piece of bumpy cake. I'm not a big fan of bumpy cake, and am highly critical of cakes in general, having made several on the watchful eyes of culinary teachers. However, the tiramisu, and the carrot cake, were exquisite. Hats off to La Petite Pastry Shoppe. For service, atmosphere, and taste, I give this place a 5 star, and highly recommend it. Also, for what you receive, the price is not out of line. I will definitely find a way to get there again soon. And hats off to our waitress, Kelly. Thank you!

The restaurant is beautiful..nice place to take a date. The appetizers were delicious especially the Brussel sprouts. I had the bourbon steak ( I'm not a big fan of sweet steak) . The gymbo was delicious.

This place looks nice inside and out. The staff was polite, and our waitress Ava was great. We started off with fresh Ceasar salads and soft complimentary brown bread. I ordered the 1/2 Angus burger with fries. The meat was fresh, but it didn't have an ounce of seasoning. The fries were crisp and fresh as I ordered. My friend had a steak cooked medium, and it was fresh with good flavor. They also had a twice baked potato that they enjoyed. I also noticed it was an older crowd. I do recommend this place, it's not too expensive.

I wanted to like this place. The prices were good but the overall experience was not. The waitress brought out onion soup with burnt to a crisp cheese there was literally no pull to the cheese just brown crunch. As a former waitress I would have refused to serve that and made the cooks retire it and than explain to the customer the delay and had a discount applied. The steak was like trying to chew a hockey puck. I can say the ceaser salad was good. Over all the waitress was marginally pleasant at tip time but I wouldn't recommend this place nor return. And it took almost 1.5 hours to get 2 burnt soups a steak and potato and salad and they really were not that busy.
