Louis' Chop House consistently receives high praise for its perfectly cooked steaks and excellent service. The atmosphere is upscale, featuring dark wood paneling, and the food quality is generally deemed worth the prices. Guests rave about the flavorful appetizers, desserts, and drinks, although some had service hiccups such as seating challenges and a lack of warmth in certain dishes. While most reviews express a desire to return, a few noted disappointing experiences regarding temperature and service errors that did not meet expectations during special occasions. Overall, it is recommended for those seeking a fine dining experience, although some diners suggest making a reservation.

Came here a couple of times in the past month or so, and every time it’s been amazing. The steak is always cooked to perfection (have gotten medium rare and medium). Some places you have to go to rare or medium rare to get medium rare or medium. The bread with the oil is always so good. Drinks are always made perfectly. Soup and calamari were good. For the price, the food and service is always top notch.

Louis's Chop House is a more upscale steak house. Everything is a la carte. The service was very good. Or waitress knew everything there was to know about how the meats are aged, prepared and suggestions on what to pair them with. We each had an appetizer, a steak, and dessert along with a drink. The bill was just over $100/person, which isn't bad for a steak house. The atmosphere is nice with lots of dark wood paneling and wine bottles on display. This is my second time here and I make it a point to come at least once when I'm in town. Enjoy!

When we got in the building, we weren't greeted but instead asked if we had reservations. We didn't, but I kinda wanted to turn around and leave. The other hostess was nice and let us know that we didn't need reservations and she seated us. When we sat down, the food assistant aid dropped bread and the olive oil sauce, and that human did NOT want to be there in that building! But moving on to the food assistant, she was very nice. The food came out and was delicious. The ribs fell off the bone, the lobster was cooked to perfection, and the lamb chops were delicious as well. The atmosphere was really dark and dated. But if it works... I would definitely order a meal to go. I know I always say make reservations. But this time, I should have taken my own advice. @according2teau 👽🦄

I didn't expect this place to be an Italian restaurant by the name, but it was a good place. The inside was decorated for Christmas, and the inside looked nice. The bread was warm, and the oil to dip it in was good. I had the soup of the day, I was disappointed at the temperature because the cheese was melted, but the soup was room temperature. It still wasn't bad. The Chicken Alfredo was good and great flavors. The person I was with enjoyed the Salmon Filet. It is a bit pricey here, but it's worth a try.

We don't dine here very often but usually a consideration for a special occasion due to the quality of food and service we've experienced in the past. Decided to dine here to celebrate my husband's retirement. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet our expectations. Two orders of surf and turf - entrees were not warm, neither was zip sauce, nor drawn butter. If we weren't so hungry, would have sent the entrees back. Alternatively, side dishes were piping hot. Error on my side dish which the server should have caught. Waited 1/2 hour for my son's soft drink. Bill came with an error for an upcharge. For the higher prices charged, we expected more. Don't feel like we got value in either food qualify or service for the $200+ spent. Likely will not return. There are other chop houses around.

The food was perfect, the chef they have really knows how to cook. Everytime me and my wife go out we always have a carry out box. Not this time though, I feel bad for not remembering her name but the waitress was great too, always filling our drinks, recommended a good wine and even convinced us to get dessert. (description: Italian or middle eastern woman, Dark hair, short, and skinny) definitely wanna keep the chef and that waitress happy.

My first time eating here, it definitely will not be the last. I had the "house cut" prime rib cooked medium. With the best side Cesar salad I have ever had right down to the homemade croutons. My wife had the play, well done. Which if you read my previous reviews I do not find appetizing however she does. They were able to do well done without overdrawing which is a hard feat to manage but they pulled it off. My son had the same thing I did and we both enjoyed our steaks. My daughter had chicken alfredo fettuccine, which was way more than she could manage to eat in one sitting. Overall the meal was exceptional, and the staff was completely on point. The drinks we had were top-notch. Everything was as expected. The cost was commensurate to the meal. Not cheap and not over the top. As expected for the caliber of meal. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a finer dining experience in the Chesterfield area.
