My husband and I did the 7 course Valentines Day tasting menu and absolutely everything was delicious. Service was incredible and they always made sure we had water and we're comfortable. Definitely coming back to explore more of what the regular menu has to offer!

I cannot say enough good things. Yes, it was expensive BUT everything was top shelf. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. Very accommodating and attentive. If the weather is right, I also recommend eating on the patio. Such a pleasant, hidden gem of a spot. The bar and the bar service were amazing. Oh, and the food was EXCELLENT! The pork chop was perfection on a plate. The pasta dish was outstanding, fresh and perfectly prepared.I truly believe a place like this is more of an experience and we had a great one!

We had a fantastic time for New Year's Eve! Marty was an excellent waiter and the food was amazing! The service was perfect from the moment you walk in the door.

We went for the cocktails. I saw that they offered a Brandy Alexander and not a lot of places offer this drink. It was good but I have to say their Chocolate martini is to die for. The staff was amazing! Super nice and very friendly. We didn't try any of the food but we will next time. Great atmosphere. I loved the live music. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great time.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful date night at SALT. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food and drinks were delightful and beautiful! I ordered the Duck Terrine as an appetizer and WOW. Let’s just say, I tasted flavors I never even knew existed…it was so tasty! I ordered the Lobster Tortellini for my main course and it was delicious. The butternut squash sauce was my favorite, perfect for the Fall season. The service was outstanding. Our waitress was personable, polite and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing. Thank you at everyone for SALT for providing a neat dining experience to Rockford 👏🏼🙌🏼

An elegant environment with the culinary experience that exceeded every expectation! Flavors bursting from conscientiously sourced food! The artisan presentation was thoughtful. The variety and textures were an explosion on my palette! Extremely professional wait staff. This is what Rockford needed to elevate a fine dining experience. You’re on par with the most wonderful restaurants with five stars!

Awesome service from Carissa! I felt like she embodied the restaurant’s mission to provide exceptional and attentive service to customers. I decided to have a birthday dinner at the last minute and made a reservation at Salt. but now I’ll going to treat myself once a month to this outstanding establishment. The Chefs even made me cake (on the house) for my birthday and it made my birthday and dining experience a 1000 times better. Thank you so much! Also try the Mushroom Tartine!!! Super delicious!

If I could give the food zero stars I would, since I didn’t get to order any… I was quickly becoming a regular here. I typically pop in once a month at least for happy hour, and often by myself for dinner and whenever I have guests from out of town this is where I take them. I made a reservation for my partner (who came from over 2 hours away) and I for Valentine’s Day WEEKS in advance. We arrived for our reservation, ordered drinks started with some oysters and then as we were ordering the Valentine’s Day menu option were told they didn’t have any of the items left. I specifically made a reservation for this experience and cannot fathom how they could possibly 86 an entire menu offering. I was absolutely broken hearted. We spent over $200 on drinks an appetizers, did not eat dinner, our server could absolutely see that I was devastated and we did not receive any sort of apology or anything. This is probably the last time that SALT. will have my patronage. I went home hungry and devastated with my Valentine’s dinner ruined.
