Truly enjoyable experience from beginning to end. We came in on a Tuesday night and were able to be seated immediately. The atmosphere was moody and intimate. I wish I had taken pictures of the interior, because it was absolutely gorgeous. Service was excellent with great recommendations and I was so happy with the timing of courses—perfectly spaced in my opinion to truly enjoy each one. We had the crab bites, lobster bisque, and then the smash burger and pad Thai for entrees. The crab bites and lobster bisque were excellently done, not too fishy, and made me wish I had ordered seafood instead of the pad Thai because of how well they were done. For cocktails, we enjoyed the plum loco, alchemy margarita, and smoked old fashion. For 4 drinks, one app, one soup and 2 entrees we got out for around $170 (including tip). We will be back!

Took 10 people there to celebrate my birthday and 4 of us ordered the seafood tower (whale portion) that was supposed to feed up to 8 people… it was ONLY enough for 4 adults, and two of us eat very little. The other thing we were EXTREMELY disappointed about was that the entire thing is served cold. No one made mention of that and it’s not mentioned on the menu. We basically paid $200 for leftovers. Who eats cold lobster tail either warm butter or cold muscles?!?!?! Yuck! 🤮 also, the lobster tail was more like a langoustine it was so small. We also ordered the wagu steak as an appetizer and it was not good. They give you salt and soy sauce to cook it with and $50 for a small portion of “cook your own steak” was very underwhelming. We have been there a couple times and had other menu items that were decent but these two were major flops. Additionally, all the cocktails were pre-made. It feels like the restaurant doesn’t make anything fresh to order anymore, from the food right down to the drinks. Our bill for 4 people was $500 full of disappointments.

I stumbled upon this place because I was in town for a high school cross country meet. This place is fantastic. They have great seafood, which is generally rare in the Midwest. But everything else is great too. Apparently their chef has sushi experience, so that was a pleasant surprise. I wish I lived closer.

We had an incredible dining experience tonight! Every single course was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully crafted, showcasing the perfect balance of flavors. The attention to detail in both the presentation and taste was remarkable. What truly set this place apart, however, was the service—personal, attentive, and exceptional. Kelsey made us feel so welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend Saffron Social for anyone looking for a memorable meal and top-notch service! 10/10!

Nice high end restaurant for Peoria. The NY strip and garlic mashed potatoes were very good along with all of the other dishes I had. The service was excellent!

It all started with a walk in without a reservation. I headed to the bar and ordered an old fashion. Man was it good. I got hungry right away and ordered the Caesar salad, and it came out really quickly. I was shocked to see how big it was. It was better than the average salad. I then ordered a salmon entree and subbed out the mashed potatoes with Brussels sprouts. I was not disappointed at all. This was by far the best restaurant I’ve eaten at here in Peoria. The vibes were also good with hip music playing in the background. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience all around. I just felt pretty opulent sitting in the place. Very tasteful and well thought decor. Lush plants and dark wall paper. Beautiful bar and table settings. All the tables have little metal lights that must be quite a vibe at night, in the daytime it was a kinda thing to work around. Music didnt quite fit the vibe but was quiet enough not to interfere. Excellent service. I don't think an empty plate sat more than a minute on my table and I went thru some. Server was knowledgeable about menu and was able to make educated suggestions for drink pairings. Super extensive wine menu, altho I stuck with beer. Food was just excellent and served appealingly. Nice weight to cutlery and plates which added to the feeling of quality. I wanted to treat myself and I dont think I could have picked better. Such a lovely place to feel special.

You're missing out if you haven't eaten here yet. This was our first time diving here and we were blown away with how amazing the food was. I ended up going with the fish and chips while my wife had the scallops. I upgraded my fries to the ones cooked in duck fat and they came with a phenomenal aioli for dipping. We both had nothing but great things to say about the food and the service. I'll definitely come here on a date again.
