Domo 77

We LOVE Domo 77!! It has been our go to for many birthdays, special occasions and just- because dinners. The one restaurant my kids do not complain about. Staff is always friendly and who doesn't love dinner with an onion volcano or a beating fried rice heart. You have to see the trick to understand. It still has the charm of yesterday's family restaurant which we love. I can't even count how many times we have been and I truly hope more people search out to find them. You will not walk away hungry with the soup, salad, entree' and fried rice. If you are a mai-tai lover do not pass them up!! The kids are always excited to have the "strawberry sprite," with the marble. Domo 77 we are so glad we found you so many years ago!!

We love Domo 77. It’s one of our favorite restaurants. Eddie is the best! He’s always full of energy and treats us really well. The food is always amazing here. They never disappoint. We are regular customers and come very often. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been going here every year for his birthday, and it has always been an amazing experience. The food is delicious and they definitely make large portions so you can have more for later. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, the chefs put on a great show and they make good conversation while they cook the food in front of us. It's something we look forward to going back again next year!

Domo 77 is one of our most favorite places for lunch or dinner! The service is always impeccable, the chefs are 5 star, and the food is simply delicious! I prefer the filet & scallops while my husband enjoys his filet with a side of lobster! We both enjoy the Godzilla roll as well as their salmon sushi appetizer! One thing is for sure, we never order any food without a side of garlic! We could eat the garlic with a spoon- it’s that good! This restaurant provides a dining experience like none other!

What a pleasant and tasty experience! It has been many years since I had been here. I finally got a chance to go back. I had the best Hibachi that I have ever had. The staff was very sweet and attentive. Not once, did I have to ask for anything. My tea cup got magically filled after each couple of sips. The filet mignon was top quality, seared just right. They used more egg than other places in the fried rice. The vegetables were so fresh and delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough! I am already planning my next visit for dinner. If you are looking for high quality food and service, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is perfect too! The portions were very generous. I highly recommend Domo 77.

It’s great to have such a trusted local hibachi-style restaurant here to enjoy top-quality Japanese food and service in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere

It’s great to have such a trusted local hibachi-style restaurant here to enjoy top-quality Japanese food and service in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere

We came in at the dinner rush time on a Saturday night. They were very busy but were constantly checking on us to ensure we were doing well. They did everything to make sure we were content while waiting. They ensured our drinks were never empty by having 2 in front of us most of the time. Food was fantastic and staff phenomenal.

We were there on Sunday with my family/grandkids. We filled the whole table. I have been going to Domo since it opened in Wheaton. Eddy and Suzy are the best. Always have a smile and a warm welcome for everyone. Now let’s get to the good stuff…. They have the very best ginger salad dressing I’ve ever tasted. Their teriyaki sauce is UNMATCHED!! I will not eat any other teriyaki sauce ever again. They wrecked me for that lol. We all love their egg yolk and garlic toppings…. OMG YUMMMMM. All the chefs there know how to cook well and put on a great show. I enjoyed bringing my kids when they were little and I love bringing my grandkids there now as well. The experience is something they look forward to once they have seen it…. “Can we go again tomorrow?” Lol. They have great hibachi and awesome sushi. Now on for the price…. Thanks to the economy being trash, they definitely are pricier than they once were. But so is everything else so how can they be any different than the upcharge of products they are purchasing. Upside is you can usually find a $25 coupon to offset the increase. All in all we LOVE this restaurant and all of its staff!
