We saw a matinee performance of Frozen at The Paramount yesterday and after the show we went this new-to-us restaurant for a post-theater dinner. It was great to walk just a couple streets over to dine at Craft Urban after the musical. Someone at my Pilates club recommended this restaurant to me. So glad we went. When you walk in, there’s a bar area across from the kitchen with a few tables close to the kitchen. Past the bar there’s the dining room and also stairs for a second level dining room. My husband started with an old-fashioned, which was on point. For dinner, I had the butternut squash gnocchi and my husband had the pork chop. I only had about a dozen gnocchi on my plate so my dish wasn’t filling. The gnocchi, though, were light and pillowy - just a small portion. My husband’s pork was slightly pink but still a little dry. The taste of the pork was very good. I know, because I snagged a few bites. We decided not to get an appetizer like we usually do when we saw the dessert on the Sunday specials. We split a yummy ice cream sundae made with Graham’s cinnamon ice cream with apple pie filling and chunks of pie crust. Yes, please! We had great service from Masha, who was attentive and friendly. I liked that the manager Stephanie came by our table for a chat. You could tell she cares about her customers as I saw her going about the restaurant visiting tables. It really matters to me when management takes the time to stop by. In reading other reviews, portion size is an issue with others and also the restaurant charge. I can agree with the portion size, but read your bill as it clearly states you can ask them to remove the small restaurant fee. I’m happy to have another decent restaurant in downtown Aurora to go to after we enjoy a performance at the Paramount. I’ll definitely be back, and I do recommend it for your pre-or post-theater dining.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ I just had dinner with my mother at Craft Urban for a special mother-son night, and it was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, setting the perfect tone for our evening together. We kicked things off with the sharables, each dish bursting with flavor—perfect for sharing and making great memories. The burgers were phenomenal: juicy, expertly cooked, and piled high with fresh toppings that delighted us both. The drink selection was impressive, with creative cocktails that complemented our meal beautifully. And the dessert? A delicious finale to an already fantastic evening. CraftUrbano is the ideal spot for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially for a special night out. Five stars all the way!

We were in the Aurora area and we were looking for a spot to grab lunch, and a business owner suggested Craft Urban. We waited awhile while the tables were being cleared and cleaned. Once seated, we got our menus and it took some time for our waiter, but they were very friendly and attentive. The Craft Burger and Funky Grilled Cheese Sammich were good. We would return if in the Aurora area.

Firstly the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Went on a Monday, half off burgers. The indoor and outdoor space is decorated nicely. I think it's the best looking restaurant in downtown. The Craft burger was okay, lacked some flavor and I think the American cheese wasn’t melted all the way. The carnitas burger was ok too, it was pretty greasy. Cocktails were very good, about $13 each

Stopped in for drinks and while the restaurant is very nicely decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant, service was quite slow. The server was nice, but just took awhile to come over and take our order. We had our drinks for 20 minutes before they came over and asked about food. Before we even ordered drinks, no one came over to take our drink order. We had to ask to be helped. We only ordered an appetizer to be fair and it was ok, nothing superb but maybe other items would have been a better pick. I think we spent a little over an hour there and most of the time was spent waiting.

Friendly bartender. Clean restaurant. 2 story restaurant. I ordered steak frites & Caesar salad. Both were tasty and well seasoned. My ONLY issue is the pricing. It seemed about 20% too high. There's an outdoor seating area and you can also sit upstairs for a nicer view.

Great restaurant with a very cool, mod vibe. The food and drinks were outstanding with specials/short term items even regular menu creations I've never seen before, all of it just fantastic. Our server was a little overloaded so service was a little slow, but I don't think that's a typical situation there. He was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu, and was overall a great experience. A great find and will definitely return.
