This was an amazing experience! When we arrived to our table, they pull the chairs out, push them in, each table has their own coat rack and the service was Beautiful! Shoutout to Jorge for making us feel so welcome! The food was SPECTACULAR and Authentic! The music could’ve been better but the overall experience was AMAZING! The price is well worth the experience as well.

This is undoubtedly the finest Brazilian steakhouse I've encountered in Illinois. The meats are cooked to absolute perfection with exquisite seasoning, elevating the dining experience to Michelin-star levels. The service is both exceptional and incredibly welcoming. Compared to other renowned Brazilian steakhouses (and I've dined at them all), this establishment surpasses them all in culinary excellence. It unquestionably takes first place! Update: Just ate there again today. The service was outstanding, this place knocks it out of the ballpark every time so far, fingers crossed. There’s absolutely nothing that we ate that we didn’t like plenty of choices, perfectly cooked and seasoned (most importantly) meat. Seasoning meat properly while it’s cooking is the most important part in this place never forget to do it.

First time here. Nice location. However, when we arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation time, and we're told it would be about another 20 minutes to get our table, so we had a few cocktails at the bar while waiting. The bar area was small, but cozy and Service and the drinks were good. Once we finally got our table, we were right next to the salad bar, which was very busy, not very romantic, considering we were out celebrating our anniversary, which we made known when booking the reservation and we told our server when we were seated. I also was a little put off that I had to ask for a small coat rack for my purse and our jackets, while others didn't seem to have to ask. I couldn't even really get up until they brought it because there was nowhere or way to put our jackets on our chairs. Also, once we were ready for the meat selections, it took them a long time to come to our table, even though we indicated we were ready with our cards turned up. It wasn't until we called one of the servers over to request the meats. Then, of course, when we specifically asked for chicken and lamb, they barely came around at all or almost when we were done eating. The food itself was good and fresh, but they did seem a bit skimpy with the meat portions when serving it, I always felt like I had to ask for a little more, every time I was being served. I mean, it is a buffet. There seemed too much going on for us to get the service and ambiance that we were hoping for to celebrate our anniversary. We left without coffee or dessert as we were full, but it seemed that they were just more interested in clearing and sitting another table in our spot. I'm not sure I would recommend this spot, especially if you're looking for a romantic dinner out and trying to celebrate.

10/19/2024 Hey! This was my experience with Chama Gaúcha! I came here to celebrate my birthday! Let’s kick off this review with the food. All the meats that they offer are really good. My favorite was the Filet minion with bacon. Also the pina colada was good. Now the service. Our waiter(s) were really kind and nice to us. They sang me happy birthday, they were quick grabbing our food as well. So the atmosphere. It looks amazing. Especially the little what you call it in the middle of the salad bar. If you go here you know what I’m talking about. Overall good food, kinds service, and amazing atmosphere. Thank you Chama Gaúcha!!!

Probably the least impressive Brazilian Steakhouse I have been to. Waiter got us with buying fancy bottled water as he didn't even offer us regular tap water Table sides are the same as Fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil. The bread was too airy, kind of eating empty bread. At least the place was busy. Had to wait 20+ min even with a reservation

Mid-September 2024 Dinner for 2 (1 soda, no dessert) with tip = $168.00 KUDOs: BEST salad bar ever experienced (along with Chama Gaucha San Antonio). Excellent choice and preparation of meats et al. Only restaurant with a personal tableside purse/cane hanger. Efficient Servers remember which cuts are personal choices and are quick to get other meats desired. Beautiful layout: large windows with natural light, classy décor; even bathrooms are elegant. CHALLENGEs: Four sites, 3 in Texas, 1 in Chicago. Wish there were more. Definitely and Highly recommended. Expensive but well worth it.

We came here as part of a large party and had a great time overall. The AYCE Brazilian style churrascaria meats are delicious, plus a solid salad bar and extensive wine list. Desserts include flaming cheesecake, tres leches, and creme brulee. Service is generally sound and be on the lookout for the upscale booze cart with cognac, scotch whiskey and aged tequila! Come hungry as it's $75pp, not the cheapest of dates. I'd recommend for special occasions or date night.
