Great hole in the wall bar/restaurant next to aloha steakhouse! One of the best happy hours in waikiki every day from 4-6. We got beers and a bunch of pupus all for $40. Can't beat it. The meatloaf was amazing. Will be back to try the full steaks

Best steak in in Hawaii - it combines Michelin star food quality with relaxed 'beach like' vibes. Relaxed atmosphere, but extremely high level quality food. Strong wine list. Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Highly recommended, especially if you are searching for a good meal (steak or burger) but do not feel like dressing up.

We went for dinner on Saturday night, and unfortunately a couple of the menu items we wanted were not available. The food we did get (the Bone Marrow and Toast, and Bone Marrow Burger) were very delicious. The service was great, they were very attentive and our water was kept full the whole meal. Half the tables are tall bar tables with high stools, and after sitting at them all dinner I was uncomfortable, and I didn't realise they did cocktails as no cocktail menu was provided.

We recently visited this restaurant and tried their signature bone marrow burger. It was incredibly delicious and juicy—definitely one of the best burgers I've had in Honolulu. The price was also very reasonable. The restaurant itself has a charming atmosphere with a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Been here a couple times but finally did the “dusk dinner” and it was actually really good! Not a bad deal, $60 for a petite salad, filet or ribeye, & lapperts ice cream. Can upgrade to the dry aged steak (which he did for his ribeye) and it was delicious! Every time I come here they’re out of quite a few of their meats though but overall it was a good night

Was super impressed with the food menu and steak! I got the wedge salad , steak of the day and vanilla ice cream. With a Mai tai and pina colada. I wish they had a drink menu instead of just a spirits list… I tried to order a blue Hawaiian and was told it wasn’t something they can make. Totally get it but having a fun drink menu would have been nice to see my full fun vacation cocktails.

Went during the middle of the week. Mellow place to have drinks and food after a longs day of work. Great atmosphere, great middle table to, if you want to kind of mix with other people who comes to this place. Steak was delicious and they have shepherds pie.

Adjacent and sister restaurant to the famous Aloha steakhouse, this offshoot is a cozier and intimate eatery that focuses on sustainability and creativity. I rarely get excited about new restaurants as they’re usually overpriced and have lack of innovation but I’m so excited we have this new butcher bar in Waikiki. Starting with the atmosphere, it’s super cute and open air, great to sit away from the rain but still enjoy the air. The restaurant feels like old-school classic steakhouse vibes with a large refrigerator showing off their beautiful dry aged meats served at aloha steakhouse and also at The Butcher bar. The service was impeccable. We were greeted right away, and were easily able to order our drinks immediately. Terry is a wonderful host at the bar. The hand picked selections of wines are all natural wines, which is unique for the area. I actually was not familiar with any of the wines and Terry was kind enough to give our table some tasters to ensure we were happy with the glass that we picked. The prices were super reasonable and I believe maxed out around $15-$16 mine were $12 and $13 for delicious and almost sour/funky natural orange wine and I finished my meal off with a light, sparkling fruit French wine. Would love to see some ports or other unique dessert wines in the future. Definitely lacking in Waikiki and I bet this team can nose out some good ones! THE FOOD - chef Jojo nailed this menu!!! It’s concise but has something for almost everyone. I was originally intrigued when I walked by and saw a new restaurant menu on the sidewalk. I noticed they had a reasonably priced burger that sounded delicious and included fries, which is almost unheard of around here. The restaurant focuses on sustainability using trim from their dry aged and high end cuts of steak at aloha steakhouse, and turning it into a delicious burger, combining bone marrow to give it an extremely moist and umami punch. The burger was perfectly cooked, medium rare as I ordered it, the fries were delicious. The burger came with two smoked slices of bacon, and it was super filling. Definitely the best burger I’ve had in Waikiki and maybe one of the best in my life! We also had the delicious lobster mac & cheese, fried bites with a garlic aïoli, and the other star of the show, the fried burrata. I wasn’t sure that burrata could get any more delicious than it already is, but chef JoJo took it to the next level by frying it and serving it with a delicious tomato salad, balsamic glaze, arugula and a perfect (large) portion of sourdough. So many times if you get a dip or different appetizer here in Waikiki, they hardly ever give you enough bread or crackers to enjoy every bite full, but this dish was perfectly sized and balanced. The generous portions were definitely definitely appreciated. We also got the stuffed mushrooms, which were perfect, as you’d expect a cheesy, drippy, hot mushroom to be! This restaurant seems to be geared more towards locals but absolutely will become a tourist and local hot spot if they keep the consistency here. Having a desire to please the locals means a lot to me as so many of the places are really out of price range for most people who live here and often the quality doesn’t match up to the cost . I really struggle to get to enjoy meals that are delicious, but still high end that don’t break the bank! Very thrilled to have this new, boisterous and thoughtful restaurant right in the heart of Waikiki! Thanks Chef Jojo and mixologist Terry! Can’t wait to come back and bring friends :)
