Ruth's Chris Steak House

I wish this review was more positive as we had a wonderful experience overall. But the food was a bit disappointing. The Tomahawk steak was cooked properly and tasted great, but the Porterhouse steak was overcooked and tough to eat. Some of the appetizers and side dishes tasted off as well. The garlic shrimp and calamari both had an old/turning taste to them, which were masked by the sauces and deep fried batter. The garlic mashed and Au Gratin potatoes were very tasty. But the creamed spinach and asparagus sides had a slight odor to them so we didn't enjoy them. As we spent almost $600 for this dinner, I'm disappointed with the food. Tracy is a wonderful manager who helped us get a table after we were promised a reservation in error. Marc is an AMAZING server and was attentive and charming the entire time. Our whole family loved Marc! This review would have been perfect if the food was up to the standard.

Exceptional. I could stop there and it would be an absolute accurate review, but let me go on .. it was my wife's birthday night and we wanted it to be memorable. We ordered their fillet and also the ribeye. Both were tasty and we could not leave any leftovers as we started. The dessert was so special. They're creme brulee is incredible and that is what we got. The service is top notch. Love this restaurant, but of course, we can not come here everyday :) more for special occasions

I visited with my mom, and we enjoyed one Ruth’s Classic, which included a house salad, lobster, cream spinach, and a filet. We also had glasses of wine. The cream spinach wasn’t to our taste, but the steak and salad were excellent.

One of the best steak houses in Waikiki. Service is always excellent. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Steaks are all great, although while I’ll usually order medium rare at other steak houses, I now order medium here and it’s just right for me. Lobster Mac and cheese is decadent!

Great dinner for two (Anniversary). Weren't quite sure where we were going until wife chose this place. Everyone was very polite and respectful. Food was great and the atmosphere was awesome.

Excellent dining experience. It was our anniversary and we were treated like celebrities. The ribeye was one of the top 5 I've ever eaten. Absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back!
