We arrived almost an hour before opening because we were advised it gets busy. It wasn't on the day we went but that's neither here nor there. Once sat we promptly put in our drink and appetizer order and they came out in the blink of an eye. We ordered the potato gratin, tuna tartar, Fried mushrooms, Shrimp, bacon wrapped asparagus and Bacon Mac and cheese. The shrimp was by far the best as the others seemed to be missing flavor. We all ordered the Ribeye and Lobster. The lobster was delicious but as for the the ribeye the seasoning overpowered the steak. In my liking of a well cooked steak all you need is Kosher salt and possibly pepper. Not sure what they use but it was by far too much. Now for the steak,,, 2 of us ordered medium rare and 1 ordered medium+. The steak was tough in the middle and soft on the outside. We did our best with consuming the meat. Service was outstanding and I wish I could say the same for the food. Service 9/10 food 7/10

We stopped here for dinner on the way back from a busy day around the island. My wife saw a TikTok about the food and the great happy hour. The place is decorated for the holidays with holiday music playing in the background. The staff is really nice and dressed well. Since we made it to the happy hour, we decided to share a few of the dishes. The first dish was Bacon mac and cheese. It was creamy with pieces of bacon in it and enough to share. Really, all the dishes we got are big enough to share. The next dish is the fried calamari. It was fried perfectly, making the calamari semi-crispy. The sweet chili and seasoning are just the right amount, not to overpower the calamari. The 3rd dish was stake tips with mushrooms. The stakes were cooked between medium and well done. The mushrooms felt sautéed and combined with the other veggies, and nuts were a great add-on to compliment the stake tips. We also got avocado toast, which was a really good side. The meat balls came in the form of 2 meatballs with a side of a delicious greek sauce. The last dish we had is the smoked salmon bites, which came out as a toast with salmon spread. We didn't expect it to be like that, but it was really good. It's a bit spicy. For dessert, we got the chocolate lava cake with a scoop of ice cream on the side. It was delicious! Warm, soft, and exactly what you would expect from a chocolate lava cake. To conclude, I would definitely recommend Little Joe's Steakhouse, especially at the happy hour. I'll even try to make it out there again before my trip ends!

Best happy hour in all of Honolulu. Elevated food and cocktails, 1/2 off most appetizers, $19.99 steak special. Beef tartare was freaking incredible for just $7.50

Was disappointed with my first visit. Our first steaks came out over cooked, on both surf and turf plates. We asked for medium and both were medium-well, closer to well done. Our server agreed and went to grab management. (My best guess is they sat under the heat lamp for too long on the super hot plates) Management came to check on us and with a condescending tone asked if we wanted our next steaks medium-raw or raw. We declined asking for them to be cooked medium. She took our plates In agitation and left. We tried to enjoy the surf while we waited another 15 minuets for our steaks. There was no effort put into firing our steaks in any sort of rush. Steaks don’t take 15 minuets to cook. New steaks arrived delivered by the same female manager and she promised to return to check on us. This time bloody and purple. Not even medium raw, but just seared on the outside. It felt like retaliatory behavior from the kitchen and management, if I can be quite honest, because of the comment she made when she took our plates. Management never returned to check on us, so we waited and waited and waited. Eventually we spotted our waiter and asked to speak to her again, express our disappointment and that we were fine taking our steaks home to cook some more ourselves. (At this point we were fed up, and not with dinner.) Management was apologetic, but in the most minimal way. Her fake demeanor really shined at this moment. No sincerity was felt from her. She knew how to put on a fake smile, nod like someone who’s pretending to care before walking away and letting us go home having had a terrible experience. With all the great places to spend your money in Honolulu, you can find a better steakhouse without issue. This isn’t Applebees, nor are they Applebees prices, so you expect something more than the mediocre, well that’s what you’ll find here. Our evening was lackluster to say the least, we wanted to enjoy SURF and TURF. Instead we got some surf… waited for our turf and by then we were ready to leave and cook the steak ourselves at home. Disappointed is an understatement, do yourself a favor and SKIP, little Joe’s steakhouse. This is not how fine dining is done. The standards are low here.

The place is so inviting. The food was so delicious. The special for today was The filet and lobster tail. The filet was so tender and tasty and cooked just the way we wanted. The service was friendly and they were there for us. Great cocktails, too! Enjoy your evening dining at Little Joe's Steakhouse!

Amazing food and service! We were in town visiting from California/Georgia. Jason was our awesome server. The steak was amazing and the garlic fries were my favorite ❤️

Good dinner! The calamari had a great thai style peanut sauce, definitely recommend. The filet medallions (ordered medium rare), were seasoned fine, was tender but not juicy, recommend if sirloin isn’t available. The baked potato is unskippable. While the steak salad proves to be quite skippable. I recommend the steak fried rice, or really any of the sides for kids. The chicken tenders were more than a typical chicken strip, very flavorful and not dry. get the fried mushrooms too.

Food was great! The steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked as ordered. French onion soup is a must!! A little noisy. Will be back!
