Phenomenal view. Incredible food. Wonderful service- Justin really made it the full dining experience. Everything we ordered was great- The salmon was delicious and the sauce it was in was so tasty and unique! The filet with crab was melt in your mouth. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend!

A fancy steak house and seafood restaurant. The food was delicious and service was very knowledgeable about the menu and the nuanced flavors. Prices are fairly high but we're worth it.

Really disappointed and didn't want to but when you are a known steak house and your premier foods are not available, your wait staff forgets to put in orders on your foods and drinks and your meals come out 15 minutes apart and you can't even have dinner with your family correctly. We had to share foods just for our family to at least eat. Yes, the manager comped some of the bill, but those items are the ones that did not come to our table. I would say the food tasted good...would probably have tasted better collectively since the sides are family style. I'm not saying don't dine here. Bad experiences happen all the time.

I had the 14 oz steak medium well that was both moist, tender and flavorful. I had declined any alcohol and opted for a mango lemonade followed up with strawberry lemonade. Both were overly sweet, but I didn't mind. I opted for the mixed vegetables comprised of zucchini and squash.

The view!! I wanted to surprise my wife for her birthday with an amazing view of the water to watch the sunset while we ate dinner. DK did not disappoint. I called ahead and spoke with the manager, Nick. He told me he'd place us in the perfect spot. I next met our waiter, Justin. His personality was amazing. You may not remember a person's name. You will remember how they made you feel and your experience. Justin gave great suggestions for my wife and the type of steak she'd want. I had the Shichimi Spice Seared Salmon. That sauce, wow! The Brussel Sprouts were cooked perfectly! Did I mention the view? Watching the sunset and thinking about the many places we visited during our trip was a blessing. Justin even gave us suggestions on our request for authentic Hawaiian food we want to try while we're visiting. If you're looking for a great atmosphere with top notch service, look no further. **THEY VALIDATE YOUR PARKING** You can park in the Marriott parking garage for up to four hours. That saves you over $55! When in Waikiki, you'll quickly learn that it cost to park everywhere. That was an additional benefit we didn't expect! Remember that parking is further in the building. Expect a 5 minute walk to the restaurant, we'll worth it. We took the parking garage to the lobby. We followed the signs that said restaurant. It opens up into a foyer. Take those elevators (on the left) to floor 3, DK is on the left.

D.K Steak House on a Friday night! Wow. A Hawaiian speciality treat in the heart of Waikiki, at the JW Marriott hotel. $25 parking at the valet or go to garages doors down to guest parking on the left and get 4 hours of free validated self parking. Go to the 3 res floor for DK’a. We arrived with reservations at 5:30 and we were seated within 5 minutes at a glass topped table booth that comfortably sat our party of four. It is a wooden bench so if you’d like more cushioning for your bottom, choose the tables with chairs. Our overall experience was 2.5 hrs and we saw the sky turn its beautiful colors at sunset while we ate. We received exceptional personalized attentive service from Jason our server. He would slip in and refill our sodas and water without us even noticing. We’d give him a 6 star review if we could. We ordered a house drink lilikoi Lychee drink made with rum. Not a sweet drink as the lime keeps it sour but refreshing after a day on the sands of Oahu. Appetizers were delicious with panko crusted seared Ahi wrapped in arugula. The fish was seared perfectly and had a mild flavored sauce to dip the sushi cut into. We also ordered a teriyaki stake appetizer. The Teri sauce was a bold sauce and the beef tender stripes serviced with teriyaki drenched spinach leaves. Our main meals were a choice of Rib Eye either classic style or 30 day aged. We only wanted steak but there is a large variety of fish specials as well. When deciding on the main meal, I must say The menu was confusing. They seem to combine their sister restaurant Sansei’s menu with the DK menu. So they list early bird specials but we found out that is only for Sansei’s menu and only on Sunday and Monday evenings. So don’t be mislead by prices. On this Friday evening, They were out of bone in rib eyes for both the classic and 30 day aged Rib eye. They had a discount for the cuts offered since they weren’t bone in, but it was not listed on the menu. We had a choice of 14 or 22 oz on the classic but the only coice was a 22 oz no bone aged cut. We ordered it as a meal which is $15.00 additional and includes a soup or salad and choice of mashed potatoes or rice and veggies. We had 3 Caesar salads and one of us ordered a lettuce wedge with balsamic dressing and bacon bits. We ordered the sautéed mushrooms and garlic fries as sides. The fries have a lot of garlic! Dessert was Kona mud pie made with a dark chocolate crust with macadamia nuts and coconut. Fantastic wrap to a delicious dinner. To top it off at 8:00 we watched from the rood top the fire work show over the bay at the Hilton. The pool area was a great viewing spot. The over all experience was very enjoyable and great food. Be prepared for about $100 per person with appetizers and drinks and shared dessert. We went home with leftovers.

We visited on a Friday night at 5:30. The place was empty at that early time. While the menu does have the initials EB for early bird specials it is only applicable on Sundays and Mondays and you have to reserve at Sansei. If it sounds confusing it is so be sure to ask your waiter what’s going on with the menu. There were also some items on the menu that were not available like the dry aged beef. The bone in ribeye (not aged) was not available for either the 22oz or 14 oz. So clearly the menu needs to be updated to reflect what they actually offer. Now that that’s been said I would still highly recommend you visit here if your budget allows. Be prepared to easily spend $100 per person or more. Our evening started with our server Jason who provided great service the entire evening. He was on top of his game evening to the point of noticing when the coke needed refilling. I wish I could give six stars for his service. Our first course were a couple of appetizers, the Teri beef and seared ahi wrapped in arugula and Panko crust. Outstanding! Next our Cesar salad which was as expected. For the main course we had the aged ribeye steak in the 14 oz portion and unless you’re starved that size worked for everyone at our table. And that was good because the 22 oz listed on the menu was not available anyway. We had the ribeye in both medium and medium rare and both were cooked perfect. One in our party had the filet mignon and graciously shared a taste with all. It was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The ribeyes were great tasting and everything I’d expected it to be. None were disappointed. The side dishes were also prepared well. Our last dish was the Kona Mud Pie. This would be the only part of the meal I’d give 4 stars to but that’s just me being a little bit over critical. We would definitely visit again the next time we are in Honolulu. Free parking at the Marriott if you get your ticket validated or $25 for valet parking. As a side note Jason let us know about the fireworks going off at 8 pm at the Hilton which is visible if you go out on the lanai. So I included a couple pictures of the outside lanai and pool area below.

I ordered from this restaurant and it was no good. First, their online prices are incorrect and nobody bother to confirm it. So a $28 steak was actually $68. I ordered Au Gratin potatoes and since they don’t make them anymore they decided to send me mashed potatoes and charged me an obscene amount of money for it without confirming with me if I even wanted mashed potatoes. The best yet, they would not provide me silverware to eat a steak so I had to chase for utensils all over the hotel where it is. I went back to the restaurant to dispute the potatoes and they made no effort to correct the situation other than to ask me to order something else which mind you my steak was upstairs in my room getting cold. They removed the charge of the potatoes after I requested it and gave me plastic forks and regular knives. As soon as I cut on my steak it was completely rare even though I asked for medium rare and the plastic forks broke. This restaurant had the worse customer service. In the end, I spent $87 for a meal I couldn’t even eat. Avoid it!
