Outback Steakhouse

All I wanted was some fried mushrooms and a blooming onion. I've been craving it for at least 2 weeks. I placed an online order and picked it up. I got home and found the blooming onion was barely edible. It was dried out and burned to a crisp on the bottom. The mushrooms were soggy and tiny. Plus, I ordered online for curbside delivery. After waiting at least 20 minutes, no one came out with my food so I went in. No one was manning the takeaway section. There was another lady there waiting as well. She asked me my name and pointed to my food sitting on a shelf. (She'd checked it looking for her own food.) I will never order from this location again for carryout. I paid online and added a tip. I shouldn't have. This was the worst takeout meal that I've had in maybe forever. I had to throw it away. The restaurant is about 22 minutes from me. I didn't feel like going back to complain in person. This was completely unacceptable.

Emma was our waitress and she did a great job. Very attentive, patient and professional. We were a party of four. Everyone said that their food was good. I just had a burger and fries. I felt the burger could have been larger. Over all it was a good night out with family. My pic was an afterthought. My apologies!

Wow, Douglasville Outback needs new management. It used to be a treat to eat here. Went in alone at 1:20 on a Sunday afternoon. There was at least 25 open tables and I had to be put in a 20 minute wait for a table along with 6 other groups of two. My server was a nice guy and trying but he had 5 tables including myself and was barely hanging on. My steak was undercooked. I barely got my cocktail before my steak came out and that was only because I had to remind him that I’d order it. Never had a single dish removed from my table. All the tables had dishes everywhere, no pre bussing going on in this place. The payment device in the table was malfunctioning so I had to wait an additional ten minutes for a check and to pay. I had to look at a dirty table stacked with dishes the entire time that I was there from people who had been gone since before my arrival. (See photo) Meanwhile when I went to leave there was three female employees talking in the side station and not pitching in to help with the terrible service all over this place. What a disgrace to the Outback brand!

On a business trip to Douglasville, I had an early dinner here. I sat in the bar area. Lisa was my server. She was great! My food was really good (coconut shrimp, mashed potatoes, salad). Everyone I spoke with was super nice. This might be the best Outback I’ve visited.

We've been to this location twice, and the food is always delicious. They know how to cook steak🥩 and their lobster 🦞 tails are a must-have. My Hurricane 🍸 was tasty, but my partner had to send his drink back twice. First, it was way too strong, then virgin...so the consistency is lacking there, but our waitress was great and very quick to get that fixed. Overall, if you enjoy steak, this place is great. I love the filet mignon and prime rib.

One of many places who scam people of the “double side” option for delivered food. I had the option of two sides and chose double fries and received not even a full one fry. Food is good, but they take advantage of delivered orders. Very disappointed!

UPDATE: Received a call from the Manager who addressed our concerns. Thanks for reaching out Joe. Awful to-go service. Food was cold and the presentation was terrible. We ended up throwing our food away. I was the only vehicle parked in the to-go area. It took 23 mins for someone to come out and ask for the name on the order.

Our experience at Outback was amazing. Chris is a wonderful bartender. I’m normally not big on sweets. However, Chris recommended the salted caramel cookie skillet. IT WAS AMAZING!!! Thank you Chris and Outback for a great overall experience for my hubby & I!
