New Me
After a long, exhausting day at work, I was seriously craving seafood. I randomly came across this spot and decided to grab their seafood trio to-go since I was too tired to dine in. Usually, takeout from other places feels like an afterthought, but The Back Burner did not disappoint. Everything was on point—flavor, presentation, all of it. Perfect way to end the day! 🤤😋

Justin was an excellent host/waiter. He knows his stuff. I was a lil disappointed because i actually went for the lobster dinner but that is only on Thursday. We had crab cakes, which wasn't that good. A bit too fishy for me. They also lacked seasoning. The lobster ravioli was good. Chris had the lamb chop dinner which was okay. Overall it was a nice spot for date night. I'll be returning to try the lobster dinner.

We love coming to the Back Burner. The staff is always very friendly and the food is excellent. My husband is a chef by trade and can always find things he loves and thinks are prepared well here. Definitely recommend for a nice date night or fun occasion!

Celebrating my Husband’s 70th birthday . This little cottage has been here since I can remember 1995-till now . Always great memories

This was my first visit, but regrettably the paella served tasted reheated rather than freshly prepared. Had I not experienced paella at another restaurant before, I might have thought this was the standard flavor. The other two meals and service were excellent, However, I must express my disappointment with my meal.

I had a fabulous time at the Back Burner! The food was wonderful, the service impeccable. We had reservations and was seated immediately. The design of the seating allowed for intimate conversations in a non rushed environment. The plating and presentation of the food was very appealing visually and the appetizer and entrée superb. Added to my favorite places for a great meal.

We visited the Back Burner for dinner over the weekend, and it was truly lovely. The food was very good, and the ambiance was very nice, upscale but comfortable. I had one of the specials and cannot remember the name of it! It had very tender chicken breast, mushrooms, sausage topped with a nice cream sauce, and shaved Parmesan. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, as usual for him, he likes to compare. It had a lot of other things in it, and he wasn’t nearly as impressed with his. He honestly didn’t care for it! I will say the our waiter tried to steer him away to something else and he wished he’d listened! I ordered a Caesar salad for us to share, and our server split it between two plates even though we didn’t ask. Excellent service! It was VERY good.. We finished with a delicious Crème Brûlée for dessert. I would have taken a picture of that, but we ate it too fast! Dinner was quite expensive, but not surprising for the quality of the food, service and experience. We would definitely go back for a special occasion! Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for a romantic place for a date, and don’t mind dropping $100 before drinks.. Reservations recommended!

Great food, especially the prime rib. Huge piece and was beautifully done! It was succulent and well-seasoned (not overdone, too). Only downside was that the mashed potatoes and green beans were too salty for my taste and knocked it down a star. Had the Moscow mule and they packed in the liquor. I also thought the tables were too close together and thought it was a bit loud even though there weren't many people in the room.
