About Tail-Gators Brews and Grill - steak house in Port St. Lucie, Florida
Customer Review Summary
Food quality is inconsistent; some dishes are overly greasy and lack flavor, while others, like the bayou fries and BBQ ribs, are praised for being delicious and fresh. Drinks vary in quality, with some being too sweet or unappealing. Service experiences differ widely; while some reviewers mention excellent staff and quick service, others complain about slow service and delays in food arrival. The atmosphere is criticized for being dark and uninviting, likened to a funeral home, needing a more cheerful ambiance. Overall, the restaurant shows potential with its large menu and friendly staff, but significant improvements are needed in food consistency and service efficiency.

The Food was hot and the drinks were cold. I tried the half and half but the tea tasted like brown water and the lemonade tasted like a freshly squeezed lemon. I ordered gator bites those tasted like the grease it was fried in, and was heavily breaded. The philly flatbread was charred at the bottom, the char had more flavor than the steak itself. The best part of this restaurant is the service from the servers. I definitely do not recommend coming here if you're hungry you'll leave angry. 3/10

Service was slow took over 15 minutes before taking our order. There were 3 waitresses on the floor and maybe 7 tables sat. Food took about 20 minutes. Our waitress was nice though as I spilled my drink she got me a new one but no one offered to clean anything so I had to go in the bathroom and grab some paper towel from there. Food was delicious especially bayou fries. The drinks were ok.. the category 4 was pretty much straight pineapple juice.

The food was great, large portions and freshly made. But the service was not good, too long to come to our table the food took to long to arrive . The atmosphere is sad, with a lots of black paint everywhere, lighting wasn't that good it looks like a funeral home, it feel big and empty in that place. It need too feel more like a happy restaurant.

Alright, so on the road for work and just needed food and a beer. Good beer, excellent gator bites, great fish and chips. Fast service, food piping hot, and I'm taking food with me. Definitely fit the bill for me - Tesla was really rad to have as a server/bartender

We enjoy trying new places while we are traveling and had decent hopes for a good lunch. The fried pickles were great until we got to the bottom of the basket. About a 1/4 inch of grease was on the bottom, making the bottom chips inedible. I got a butterfinger martini which was delicious. The mac and cheese burger had no flavor. The kids cheeseburger bites were super tough. I got the garlic parm fries, which also were soggy and too greasy. The staff was great, resturant clean, but I don't recommend the food.

Big clean restaurant with good customer service. Plenty of parking. Large menu. I had 1/2 BBQ ribs. They were hot, fresh and delicious. The side salad was bigger than expected. It had just about anything you'd want in a salad.

Everything you would expect from a sports bar/restaurant. Good food and good service. They struggled a little with our big (20+) party, but other than that not to many complaints. I had a grilled chicken bacon avocado sandwich Great flavor done perfect. Son got a burger, excellent. Wife very happy with chicken strips. Overall Good experience.

Great place. Waitress was good. Manager walked around to follow up with how our meal was and gave us a half off coupon for our next visit. Quick table pickup when done with appetizers. Drinks filled before empty. A good variety on the menu. French onion soup was ok just a little salty tasting.
