Customer Review Summary
Kyle G's Prime Seafood & Steaks offers an exceptional dining experience, marked by attentive service and delicious food. Guests have praised the personal touches for celebrations, such as handwritten cards and complimentary desserts. The menu features standout items like tuna steak, lobster bisque, and calamari, while the ambiance enhances the meal, especially with outdoor seating and live music. However, some patrons experienced inconsistencies with service, particularly during peak times, and issues with front desk efficiency. Notably, the automatic 16% service charge has received mixed feedback, where some appreciated transparency but others felt it fell short of their expectations for tip amounts. Overall, diners express a willingness to return for the great food and atmosphere but hope for improved service consistency.

I celebrated my birthday at Kyle G's Prime Seafood, and it was an unforgettable evening! The personal touches were amazing - they provided a handwritten birthday card and a complimentary cupcake (no hidden fees, which was a nice surprise). The food was absolutely delicious and arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the tuna steak and crab dip - both exceptional. To top it off, I tried the flambé pineapple upside-down cake, which was exquisite and unique experience!! Our waiter was delightful, ensuring we never felt rushed and taking the time to explain the 16% service fee before we ordered, which I appreciated. Sitting outside on the patio with the ocean as our backdrop elevated the entire experience. The ambiance, service, and food were all top-notch. I highly recommend Kyle G's for any special occasion or just a fantastic dining experience!

We dined there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The exceptional cuisine surpassed even the outstanding service. Despite a brief, fifteen-minute wait for a table, even with a reservation—understandable given the post-Christmas Saturday rush—our experience was positive. Our attentive server, Josh, provided excellent recommendations. The Lobster bisque, calamari, ribeye, and flounder were perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The pianist's performance, while lively, allowed for comfortable conversation. Although we were too satiated for dessert, the offerings at nearby tables appeared delectable. We plan to return on our next visit to the area.

Easily the best dinner we had on vacation! We went for happy hour and ordered many things from the menu. There was live music and a nice ocean breeze. 1,000% recommend!

We planned a friend dinner here to celebrate multiple birthdays. One of us got ill and we had to change the number from 6 to 4 at the last minute. Front desk was as stressed and defensive as it gets, telling us the change meant extensive undefined wait. The long line of people waiting with existing reservations highlighted the front desk inefficiency. Once seated (gratitude to the manager after 25 minutes post-reservation), the food preparation and serving were good. Plating and service were professional and live music in the background added to nice ambiance. Sea bass, swordfish, steak and shrimp were prepared well. No awe inspiring flavors, but enjoyable. Mixed drinks were wonderful: really enjoyed my smoked Old Fashion and Green Goddess was delicious. Dessert was forgettable, both Tiramisu and Creme Brûlé. Overall, at over $100 per person, I hope the front desk inefficiency and attitude were a one-off experience for us, or otherwise would be a no-go. Otherwise, nice waterfront dinner with fair table service.

Very impressive high-end dinner restaurant. The prices and the atmosphere reflect it! I do have some slight criticism to offer. So this restaurant actually charges you 16% service charge or tip automatically without question. They even go as far as to leave placards on the tables to tell you why. I live in an affluent area and frequently dine in high-end establishments. Very few up scale restaurants I have found take this approach. Most people with money have no problem tipping, in fact I always start at 20% and in most cases it goes up. The server was excellent, and I felt it an insult that they only added 16% when if it was up to me, he would've got 25+. In spite of this policy, I still gave him some extra. But going forward I may not be so kind. Take this for what it's worth, but I am an experienced reviewer.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant! Stopped in for a birthday lunch for my friend and was seated right away. Reservations are recommended and be prepared to valet. We ordered oysters and calamari to start. The calamari was the best I ever had! Then we ordered the Mahi Mahi dinner and a 10z filet dinner. The lunch menu didn't have many fish or steak options. The Mahi Mahi was really good, but I wish there were more lentils and sauce. The steak tho had absolutely no seasoning. So disappointing. We had to order a side of sauce to eat it, plus the veggies on the plate also had no seasoning as well. It was like a high-end geriatric dinner. We then got a side of lobster mac-n- cheese. This is a must! The best I've had!!! Overall, it was a nice experience, and I will be back for the calamari and mac-n- cheese.

PLEASE READ ALL: From a review from my husband: As husbands we tend to get the short end of the stick when it comes to planing special occasions for our wives and that is the reason I chose Kyle’s for my wife’s 55th birthday. In my intentional planning I knew taking her there would be a memorable evening. Well that is not what we got! All of my planning ended with an evening of NO recognition of my wife’s birthday outside of the greeter at the greeters stand. The service was par the food not good (not what I expected). Although the apps were eye gratifying they were cold. At that time I was like come on guys you’re killing me here. Hoping that the entree was going to knock it out the park, it arrived and to make sure the temp on my wife’s steak was correct the person that delivered the meal shined his phone flashlight/light so that she could confirm. At that point I knew my wife was just being kind for all I had tried to put together…but I knew when she said she didn’t want dessert I wasn’t getting any either (if you know what I mean). I made the reservation with the assumption the table would be set as such but I will say that my wife being as though it was a surprise meal was dressed according to what I told her to get her out of the house (football game and apps) didn’t feel comfortable in what she was dressed in and decided to sit outside (lots of planning to get her here)… but within the reservation it stated birthday and any changes on our side should not have effected her night. I felt that it was non communication from greeter to server or the sever just forgot (and I say that because each time my wife passed the greeter she asked how is her birthday going)..so not sure where the ball was dropped. So in the end this experienced can’t be changed but a possible do over would be nice. Signed Unhappy wife made for an unhappy night😫 UPDATE: Felicia, Keisha & Richard!!!! I can’t thank you enough for all you guys did … You invited us back and from the time we walked in the door till the time we left with FULL stomachs was nothing short of fabulous! I will say that none of this was for me but for the effort that my husband put in to make my day special and what you guys did tonight was all that we knew Kyle’s could be and more. From the poem from Richard to the care from Felicia and Keisha really went above and beyond, so much that it brought me to tears…At this point I won’t call what you guys did redemption because that wouldn’t be just, but what I can say is that it was more like being around friends who cared… Thank you again for a memorable evening and thank you for keeping this one of our most favorite places to be… Bravo💋

First time here and this place is huge. We got here about 7:30pm and it was packed on a Sat night. They seated us at a round table and can easily fit seven of us. Ordered Catalan octopus, a dozen of clams and mussels as appetizers. Main courses included tomahawk steak, Australia lamb chops, Florida grouper, pork chop and sticky ribs. Also order sides of truffle fries, broccolini’s and lMac and cheese. Happy about all the appetizers. All seasoned well and tasted good. The tomahawk steak stood out the most tonight. Came medium rare as ordered and well seasoned. The grouper and pork chop were also nice. My mom liked the the curry emulsion on the grouper. Most disappointing was the lamb chops. Ordered medium and came 200% well done. Even though well seasoned, the meat was dry. Ambience was good and service was great. Katrina, our server, was friendly and attentive. Found time to fill our wine glasses even thought it was a busy night.
