It's located between Publix and Rocky"s (Ace Hardware) The food is always yummy. Nice atmosphere. I would advise you to go early because the food is so delicious that it gets so crowded. The later you go the longer the wait. They have daily specials and serve breakfast all day long.

Went here for a birthday meal. Brother in law turning 81. Usually in most restaurants they either sing to you or a desert if some kind. I guess that don’t do that here. Our table ordered Chicken fingers, steak Salad, chicken quesadilla and spaghetti and meatballs. I would like to report everything was really good…it was not. The chicken fingers were over cooked, all 3 orders. The spaghetti and meatballs were under seasoned and I am not sure what they use to make these meatballs but they need a new recipe with better flavor and texture in the meatball. Not a good plate of food at all. The 8 oz New York strip for the salad was ordered medium, it came hammered. Super well done and was so tough I could barely cut it up. It seemed like nothing prepared hot or cooked was from the freezer and not fresh. What was good? Friendly staff. Great service and a good atmosphere. I do see that they serve lunch and breakfast. I might give it another try for breakfast. Finally, went to the men’s restroom to wash my hands and there was some sort of food substance in the sink. Not good.

Grandpa's Diner is located in a strip mall. It may not look like much from the outside, but I am sure that you would be pleasantly surprised. Hungry and looking for something other than fast food, I stopped by there with a friend while out running errands. The restaurant could have better lighting, but the place is clean, the food there was inexpensive (I had the three eggs and sausage special, it was only $6.99), and the service was top notch. Grandpa's Diner is definitely a place I would go back to and I highly recommend that you give them a try.

We really enjoyed our breakfasts they were delicious, hot and the service was great. All the servers were moving about the dining room with smiles and enthusiasm. It gave the room a fun vibe. Definitely will go back. 👍🏼👍🏼🍳☕️

First time but not the last time here. I went with my husband and his 88 yr old mother. We were seated as soon as we came in and got a booth close, as my MIL uses a walker. Service was quick and very friendly. I ordered an omelet, MIL got a Reuben with sweet potato fries and hubby got the cuban and french fries. The meals and sweet tea were very good. Prices were great. Hardly any wait time. Even the ladies room was clean.

Was looking for a place that served Grits this morning and came across Grandpa's Diner. After reading the reviews, we decided to check it out. Being a Sunday morning around 10a, we figured (and hoped) that morning breakfast rush had already come through. Upon arriving and walking through the door, we were greeted with a "Welcome & Thank you for stopping by". The host immediately sat us and our waitress was at our table within 2 minutes. Our waitress was very friendly, took our drink orders. While waiting for our drinks, we went through the menu, which everything sounded great (loaded french fries with chili, cheese, jalapeño caught my eye, but we were there for breakfast not lunch/dinner). The staff was very accommodating to other around us and was cleaning thoroughly as folks left. Every staff member had a mask and was wearing it properly. As our waitress brought us our drinks, we placed our order. (The food was delivered within 8 minutes of placing the order. Bill Total: $18.44) 1: Veggie Omelette with provolone cheese, home fries & wheat toast (light butter) PRO- Omelette was very delicious as was the home fries. CON- Omelette was more of scrambled eggs mixed with veggies and the home fries were super greasy. Also with the extra grease on the plate it mixed with the Omelette, down playing the flavor some. TIP: order the home fries on a separate plate 2: 2 Eggs (sunny side) with bacon, bowl of grits (with American cheese) & white toast PRO: Eggs cooked perfect, bacon was crispy and not to greasy. Grits were not running, they were a perfect combination of firm and slightly creamy. CON: No Cons on this dish, was very delicious. We would love to come back for lunch or dinner sometime and yes we would recommend Grandpa's Diner. This cozy little hole in the wall in a Grocery plaza seems to be doing the right thing. Thanks for checking out my review. Let me know if you recommend this place and what we should try next at Grandpa's Diner.
