Customer Review Summary

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse has a modern, elegant atmosphere with attentive and knowledgeable servers. Menu highlights include excellent milk bread, perfectly cooked steaks, and delicious cocktails. Some dishes received mixed reviews; appetizers like wagyu meatballs and calamari were praised, while issues included over-salted dishes and seafood that left some diners feeling ill. The ambiance can be affected by noise levels from other diners. Prices are high, and while some found the experience worth it, others felt it didn't live up to expectations for the cost. Overall, it’s recommended for a special occasion, but some diners experienced inconsistencies in food quality and service.

Group of us came for a business dinner. The decor in this place was modern and dark. Servers were attentive and knowledgeable. The milk bread was amazing. Soft and fluffy on the inside and nice and shiny outer buttery crust with sea salt on top. Of the appetizers the wagyu meatball was quite good, and so was the shrimp dish. Most of us ordered some type of steak. It was cooked perfectly mid rare. It was a big steak 16oz oscar style i couldn't finish it but it was delicious. The cocktails were great. Would highly recommend.

This place was amazing. We enjoyed amaretto sours and old-fashioneds. The bread was lightly baked and topped with really good quality salt. The calamari was cooked to perfection. I had the salmon and asparagus. I would’ve liked my salmon skin more crispy, but the dish was delicious. The combination of the black olives and salmon paired perfectly, The mashed potatoes lacked flavor, and were placed on a plate very messy with a slice of butter on top. I expected a more refined mashed potato. For dessert, we tried the crème brûlée. It was delicious and creamy, and the crust of sugar on top was perfectly toasted. We ate all of it Our waiter was consistently checking on us. The atmosphere was clean and elegant. Our bill was $300 and we gave the waiter a $50 tip. This was for one appetizer two drinks each and two entrées. If you can afford it, try it.

We were greeted warmly. This was our first time there and we expected a higher level of service. The table behind us had regulars with our server. The level of service they received was much different than ours. We had good service and the other table was "wow". The shared mashed potatoes were overdone. Our filets were really good.

I went there for my son’s birthday with my family. I wanted something elegant since it was a special occasion. The place has a dress code which I like. You have to make reservations. The surrounding is safe. There is self parking and valet. Presentation excellent place as wineries from front to back. The atmosphere was nice but a bit chilly if you don’t like the cold bring a scarf or wear something not so revealing. The atmosphere was very quiet until a group of six was laughing so loud which was very inappropriate for this type of setting. My sever Matias was very nice and courteous. We ordered the lobster brisket soup which I was looking forward to enjoying unfortunately we couldn’t because of to much salt in it. Because of our Medical condition we couldn’t drink it . The bread was good but the salt on top, doesn’t have to be added. It’s my personal opinion. The food are elegantly presented again some have a bit of salt . My opinion again chefs need to think about people health. The food would have 5 stars if it wasn’t for the salt. Bring your $$ with you. I like the elegance of the atmosphere.

My wife and I went to Del Frisco’s on Valentine’s Day for a date night, it was our first time. We order The salmon Crudo, king crab rainbow roll, and the ginger scallion crispy rice. The King crab rainbow roll had shell in it which was Off-putting. The Ginger scallion crispy rice was soggy. All three dishes had raw fish, which normally is never a problem, But this time it was so fishy. After the starters, we had a Wedge salad, which was fantastic and the lobster bisque, which was the worst Lobster bisque I ever had. And to be quite honest, my wife and I started to feel sick after eating the sushi so we left without eating the main course. We decided not to tell our server because our server changed three times during our short time there and my wife and I were beginning to feel really sick and didn’t want to cause a scene. To conclude our night, we ended up in separate bathrooms in our house with terrible food poisoning On Valentine’s Day. Very romantic Way to end our evening. I am not one to complain or send a dish back but when I get sick like I did and see my wife go through the same thing, I felt the need to share my experience.

We came for Magical Dining, and what a menu! Del Frisco’s had been on my list to try, and I’m so happy I finally get to experience it. Our server, Marco, was very attentive. My boyfriend ordered the Wagyu Meatballs, 8 oz filet, Chocolate Mousse, and the Steakhouse Iced Tea. I ordered the tuna tartare, oysters (off menu), crab cakes, Lobster Mac & Cheese (upgrade), Strawberry Hibiscus Cheesecake, and an Old Fashioned. Everything was delicious. Dinner started with a yummy bread service. I didn’t think I was going to be full from what I ordered, but holy cow! The tuna tartare was the most generous portion from any restaurant I’ve been to. The filet was buttery, the crab cakes were filled with crab meat lumps, lobster mac & cheese was to die for, the drinks were made perfectly, and the desserts were just the right portion. I’m so happy with our experience and can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time visiting. Our waiter "Steve" was great. He gave prompt service and great recommendations. Each course was spaced out perfectly and the presentation was great. It was our 32nd anniversary and there was a card with congratulations. We were given a complimentary cheesecake dessert. It was a outstanding experience!

Having a hard time reviewing this place. The food is great. The issues I have is that it’s slow and super expensive. If you want to go somewhere that acts fancy, then this is for you. Given the price, I was expecting the food to not be comparable to any restaurant I’ve ever been to, but truthfully there’s many Disney and Universal restaurants I’d rather eat at (even if this was cheaper). Maybe this style of restaurant just isn’t for me though. If taking hours to eat at a restaurant where everyone acts fancy and you spend 2x the money of what you should, than this is for you. I am very happy I got try a fancy restaurant like this though, always wanted to.
