A Land Remembered

A Land Remembered is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited this past year—possibly my favorite. I almost skipped it, assuming from the name and location that it was a touristy, themed spot, but I was completely wrong. Located inside Rosen Shingle Creek, it’s a cozy, upscale yet inviting restaurant. We dined during Magical Dining, where quality sometimes takes a hit, but not here. Every dish was exceptional, making me want to return at full price. My husband and I ordered the Seared Sea Scallops, Lamb Chops, Slow-Roasted Prime Ribs, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Key Lime Pie, and Bourbon Milk Chocolate Cake. The scallops were perfection—crispy outside, tender inside—with a corn purée that made for a surprising but delightful pairing. The prime rib was hearty and cooked to perfection, and the desserts were outstanding. That Key Lime Pie? Easily one of my favorites. Service was impeccable. Our server was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel so welcome. It’s rare to dine somewhere where the staff seems happy you’re there. My only critique is the somewhat dated interior and the casual vibe from the adjacent bar, which caters to golfers. While it slightly cheapened the atmosphere, it’s far from a deal breaker. No gimmicks, no flashy attempts to go viral—just incredible food and service. A Land Remembered delivers a dining experience worth writing home about.

Accidentally came at lunch time and realized it is a different restaurant during the day. We made our way back Monday evening and had a wonderful visit to A Land Remembered. The food was excellent, with high quality and much attention to detail, the ambience was very nice with a table overlooking the well manicured outdoors, and service was very professional. Kyle, who attended our table was clearly a well-seasoned professional in the business and was the icing on the cake to a wonderful evening. The GM Mr. Ustabas, who was very thoughtful, checked in to make sure we were taken care of. So glad we gave it a second shot, our evening exceeded our hopes for a great experience.

I came here for magical dining on a Sunday and Howard was my server he was great always filing up my drinks without me asking and checking if I needed anything and packed up my leftovers in boxes so excellent service from him! For appetizers we got lamb hops, entrees was prime rib and for desserts was cheesecake and chocolate cake and everything was so good! I like the large portions in the food and everything came out quickly! Best value for the food, price and sizing for Magical dining menu! Also got the shrimp cocktail which was not part of magical dining but it large shrimps and so good and the drinks was the bourbon and strawberry mule!

Love this place! I have been here many times. We came back for my friend’s bday. Our server Steven is awesome. There was some convention parties. So service is a little slow. My friend is a little demanding. But Steven handled very well. Prime rib is very good. Not many places serve prime ribs now. The only nice restaurants I can think of are here and yachtsman steak house. I highly recommend this place

First I want to say a big thank you to Stephen for his great service, decent dad jokes, and fantastic recommendations. We threw him a curveball when we had 2 friends show up for a later reservation and invited them to join us. He quickly pivot s and re took our starting order, and got all the food delivered timing sync up. Thank you. The food quality was excellent and uncompromising in quality. We had the ribeye and chicken dish from the magical dining menu and it was al spot on. We will absolutely be back to try other items on the menu. But, I might be tempted to get that ribeye to go, on top of anything new we try. The deserts were very good too. We generally don’t order deserts but it came with the meal. I think because of the quality, I could talk myself in to saving room for it at this restaurant.

My Husband and I were in Orlando for his job conference and our Anniversary so we decided to dine here. The service was spectacular, the food was great, and our waiter Steve was the greatest. We have never experienced customer service and great food of this magnitude. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be visiting again.
