My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and the staff at Truluck's made it a very memorable evening. I cannot say enough how great our waiter and the rest of the staff was and the food was absolutely amazing. One of the best restaurants we've ever been to. when we arrived, they had a card and rose petals on the table for us. The waiter was exceptional and explained everything very well. We both had the lobster bisque which was so savory you wanted to lick the bowl. I had the Filet Mignoon flight, all 3 steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection, there is no way I could choose just 1. My wife had the lamb chop which she absolutely loved and said was one of the best she's ever had. We had steamed spinach and my favorite, Au Gratin potato's as side. As a surprise for desert, the restaurant gave us a baked Alaska which I'm generally not a fan of but they put something magical in it and both my wife and I loved it. They have a good wine selection and the Old Fashioned was very good. I can't say enough how amazing this restaurant and the staff were. We will definitely be returning.

2024-11-28 6:30 pm dinner - Andrew was our server and he was so helpful and friendly, I very rarely reference the server’s name but he was really fantastic. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful, I haven’t been in a restaurant in a while where everyone was so on their game. Our meal was amazing - from the shrimp cocktail, Parker house rolls and wedge salad to the blue crab stuffed lobster, steak and carrot cake - it was all fantastic. I brought my leftover carrot cake back to MN with me. Oh, and light up menus, who knew they even existed!

First time at this location and it is a gem. The service is great, kudos to Ramon who is a gentleman. The food was fantastic, the lobster bisque was delicious and creamy. The crispy branzino was perfection, and the crab was very tasty. The side was the potato au gratin which was fantastic with a slightly creamy center and a wonderfully crispy outside. Dessert was a petit carrot cake which was amazing. The atmosphere was pleasant and sophisticated. A great place for a nice dinner, anniversary or birthday celebration! Will definitely be back!

Seafood Paradise with Impeccable Service - Truluck's Delivers! Truluck's is a must-visit for any seafood lover! The freshness and quality of their seafood are truly exceptional. I was blown away by the raw oysters and the perfectly cooked ribeye steak, which was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The grilled garlic and mushrooms were a delicious addition. To top it off, the Chocolate Malt Cake and Vanilla Creme Brulee were the perfect sweet endings to an incredible meal. The service was top-notch, with our server providing attentive and friendly service throughout the evening. The elegant ambiance and sophisticated decor added to the overall experience. Highly recommend Truluck's for a special occasion or a memorable night out!

I don’t know how many times my friends and I have visited Truluck’s and I’m never disappointed! If you ever get a chance to order ANYTHING on their menu please be sure to try the carrot cake!!! It is AMAZING! We checked out their Miami Spice dinner menu and it was $60. It was well worth it! I tried the lobster bisque, salmon and of course the carrot cake! Like I said I’ve been several times and everything I’ve tried has been amazing! Happy eating ❤️

I’ve been here before and loved the spot as they made our previous night memorable as it was a special night for celebration, but.. tonight wasn’t the same. I still had a good time because of my close friends who I call family. We grew up going to the same school from middle school to high school in the small town of Kendall. As far as the restaurant and my previous experience this time wasn’t the same. I was charged $40 for the bottom shelf mezcal.. waiter said this was the cheapest liquor they had for mezcal… which is impossible because they have cocktails with mezcal @ $17-$20. My brother had ordered a steak to his liking to finally get a steak over cooked. Support staff was not around as frequent to attend our thirst as we were enjoying the food. Not sure if I’d ever go back. A disappointment.

I sat at the bar for lunch. Victor, the bartender, was absolutely wonderful. Attentive and kind. Gorgeous restaurant. Great location. Valet parking. Fantastic wine menu. The food was spectacular. Started with the lobster bisque soup and the bread rolls. The rolls combined were about the size of a loaf of bread. They were warm and airy. There was enough lobster meat in the bisque. I ordered the calamari, which you can have fried or sautéed. I had it sautéed. It was smaller size pieces but still delicious. I was told it was stone crab season in Miami, so I tried one jumbo claw. We don't get seafood like that in the Midwest. Finsished with an 8oz red snapper filet, which I had served over rice pilaf. Oh my my, that was great snapper. Grilled and done right. It shouldn't even be served with a lemon because it was perfect as it is. If you come in from out of town, you have to put this restaurant on your list.

IT 's the place to go if you are looking for a restaurant that will NOT disappoint you. It was our first visit on my birthday in December 2024. The service that was provided blew us away. I never received a birthday card just for dining. This option felt more professional than the singing entertainment. The food was excellent for both orders. Stone Crabs are my favorite. They were never frozen and were perfectly arranged. My husband chose Steak Frites, as he loves French cuisine. This dinner couldn’t get any better, we thought. But when we were surprised with a Baked Alaska on the house —it blew our minds. Never, ever have we received such perfect hospitality and service in a restaurant. From the warm ambiance to the attentive staff, every detail was meticulously crafted to create an unforgettable experience. As we savored each bite, we couldn't help but feel as though we were part of something truly special. The Baked Alaska was not only a delightful treat but also a testament to the restaurant's commitment to going above and beyond for its guests. As we left, our hearts and stomachs full, we knew this was a place we would eagerly return to. It’s rare to find a gem that combines exquisite food with impeccable service, and this restaurant has certainly set a new standard for dining excellence. Thank you all for this remarkable birthday celebration!
