Terrace Grille Lakeland

We came here for our 5 year wedding anniversary dinner. We were sat immediately even though we arrived earlier than our reservation. Our waiter, Jackson, was extraordinary. He went above and beyond for us and made it a fantastic anniversary dinner. Our wedding was at the Terrace Hotel, and it was very nice coming back and being treated so wonderfully. Our food was phenomenal. I have nothing to say that could be improved but have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience. We will absolutely be coming back again soon!! Thank you Jackson & staff at the Grille!

Courtney was an amazing server! Hoping she’s rewarded for her great work! The food was fabulous and all items had fantastic flavor. The new chef, Chef Patrick, has turned this place in to a great place for lunch or dinner! If you haven’t been lately go try it today!

My best friend and I came for her birthday dinner on a Friday night. Jay was a fantastic server! The food was a 10/10. We ordered the gnocchi with grilled chicken and salmon. Fantastic! Jay went out of her way to ensure we had a nice time and surprised my friend with a birthday treat taking into consideration her food restrictions. Highly recommend!

Absolutely elite atmosphere. Good luck trying to outdo the ceiling, furnishings and architectural features. Host and service was amazing. They intercepted me to let me know there was indeed room service after they overheard reception telling me there wasn't. Room service was great and the food came hot and fresh. The scallops with pea risotto was extremely delicious. The broccolini was charred with wood and was not enjoyable. Tiramisu was ok and kind of average. If I was not by myself, I would have sat in the dining room which I couldn't stop gawking at.

Visiting Lakeland for the first time from Tampa, we met up with our cousin from California, who was staying in Orlando. After searching for top-rated restaurants in the area, we decided to book a brunch reservation at The Terrace Grille—and we’re so glad we did! I was especially excited when we were seated with Jay as our server, having seen her name mentioned in multiple Google reviews. She absolutely lived up to the praise! Jay was incredibly friendly, attentive, and provided excellent menu recommendations. From the moment she introduced herself, she set such a warm and welcoming tone for our visit. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely return to The Terrace Grille. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining spot in Lakeland. It was our first time visiting this restaurant with family on Thanksgiving. The ambiance was nice, but the service and food were disappointing. On Thanksgiving Day, they only offered a set menu, which we understood. After being seated, we ordered coconut shrimp, a salad with chicken, and rib. It took about 40–50 minutes from when we sat down to when the food was served. However, we were given a salad without chicken and a turkey dish instead. The server replaced the turkey with the rib, and I got the explanation for the salad was missing chicken until I asked. There wasn’t even an apology for either mistake. Fine, we could let that go, but as for the food itself, the turkey was overly salty, and the beef was tough—nothing surprising or enjoyable. In fact, it wasn’t good at all, leaving us very disappointed. The staff also lacked enthusiasm and proper service attitude towards customers. We won’t be coming back.

Rena our waitress was amazing. So friendly and helpful. Our meal was so delicious. I had the crab cake for my appetizer and the filet and scallops for my meal. Every bite was mouth watering. Our dessert which was the cheese cake topped our meal. I highly recommend and we will go again.
