KJ's Steakhouse offers a mix of experiences for guests. Many reviewers highlight friendly and attentive service, with specific praise for waitstaff like Lucas and Alec. The ambiance is described as dark, creating a cozy atmosphere. Food quality receives mixed feedback; while some dishes like the tomahawk steak and stuffed mushrooms are lauded for their taste and preparation, others, including the ribeye and French onion soup, fell short of expectations. Several diners appreciate the cleanliness and classy nature of the restaurant. There are also mentions of the drinks being well-made and the teamwork among staff members. We made a reservation in advance, as the restaurant can get quite crowded. The ambiance is quite dark, but our server was friendly and attentive. They had a wide selection of drinks, and our stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Despite everything looking appealing and being hot when it arrived, I felt that a few dishes lacked flavor, such as the Brussels sprouts and French onion soup. The steak was cooked to our liking, with a crispy exterior. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and will definitely return.

Went for the first time on my birthday to start with our waiter, Lucas was exceptional and very professional. I ordered the T. Rex combo which is a tomahawk steak and lobster tail. It was cooked too. Perfection literally melted in my mouth our waiter Lucas never miss a beat checked on us. Multiple times was by far one of the best waiters I’ve had in a long time he even took a photo of my group for my birthday and personally wrapped the tomahawk steak bone for my dog at home. I can’t say enough about Lucas and his service

Clean, Happy, Classy place to dine. I highly recommend the gator bites. Servers, front desk, and managers all on point with service. Bartender made great drinks and 2 👍🏻👍 for the cooks/chiefs in the back. Food was on point!

Super super unimpressed for the money. Ribeye was very bland, literally can get 3x better of a steak at outback for half the cost. The upcharge twice baked potato sucks you get hardly any portion size for it. The French onion soup all the onions were super hard and hot really soft and caramelized, tasted like onions on a burger in some boiled water. Service was a drag, manager never checked on us, noticeably seemed to avoid our table since we weren't a birthday or anniversary spending big bucks on alcohol and tomahawks. Had to ask for refills, server wasn't really attentive for only 4 tables in her section. Wasn't even presented the bill in a book just a receipt. What are we paying for ? Save your money and hit Texas Roadhouse or outback. Ridiculous

Kyle the bartender was absolutely amazing. It was my anniversary last night and he really helped up make it special! He was super hospitable and quick with service. 10/10!

We noticed how multiple employees were voluntarily helpful at our table, taking plates that needed to be removed, etc. It appears like you’all work as a team. Alec was our excellent waiter, and the hostess and manager on duty were also extremely courteous and helpful. And yes, the steaks and my stuffed baked potato was excellent! My 14-ounce ribeye shown on the right was excellent. (Sorry I had already eaten part of my steak when the photo was taken, I couldn’t resist!)

I’ve seen KJs for the last 2 years and didn’t try it because of the location. I have to admit I was wrong! The food and service is 5 star. We’ve been back several times and will continue to come back! The tomahawk is insane! Definitely my favorite. My wife and I go in and share one and it’s so good every time! My hats off to the chef.
