Three of us ate here. Two of us got the prime rib special and one got the sirloin tips and mushrooms. We were all happy and the food was done well, cooked correctly. They provide a big salad. My only complaint would be they don't offer blue cheese, but other than that it was good. Two of us had two drinks each and one had one. The bill was fantastic. Little over sixty bucks without tip. Can't beat that for three people and cocktails and prime rib. Would definitely come back. And the chocolate peanut butter cake was good. Not great, but very good.

It's a good place to go. First time I'd been in there a while. Food was pretty good for the most part. They tried to reheat yesterday's rolls and start that off for us. My buddy complains. We had to wait a while for the fresh ones to come out that morning. We were the first table in there, so I understand them reheating the ones from last night. The steak was actually a little bit undercooked, but it was good. Everything was slightly under seasoned. But if you are catering to an older crowd, I understand that. Overall, decent meal, decent food. The salad is great. The fresh bread was great

A friend and I ordered beef cababs. We're supposed to get 3. We got 2. We split the meal, and she said that it would be $5 more, but it wasn't. She gave us one salad, no onions, 1 tomato to split the salad,no plates for the salad. she never brought out the jalapeno corn muffins. We ordered the steak medium, and it came out rare. Can't eat rare meat, sorry. She was pretty busy( server). She had a table of 6,4, and then a table of 11. We were only 2 sure she was busy but wasn't very tentative. I understand being busy, but she wasn't very friendly. Probably won't be back for awhile. Good salad tho.

Friendly waitress greeted us and quickly brought us jalapeno cornbread. Not sure if they were supposed to be served cold, super sweet in flavor and no jalapenos in some of them. Ordered pulled pork dinner, pork was pretty good, sides-coleslaw, nice, large portion, but didn't care for flavor, and lastly small portion of smashed garlic potatoes & I believe there was an upcharge for them, but they were dry. Still hoping to try their steaks though, as I heard so much positive feedback!

I brought my two small children in for lunch today and it was such a pleasant experience! I am not surprised as I have been here many times and the food is always good, Along with the service. The difference for me today is I realized how kid friendly this restaurant is and how truly unique it is inside and out with its decor! Also our server was truly amazing and made our experience special. My son's name is Bubba so the kids were excited to go to Bubba's for lunch and even got to meet him! Just want to say a big thank you to the owner and staff for being so accommodating, as it can be very challenging Going out to eat with my three and five year old alone. We can't wait to come back and dine here again and try new items! Also, it's important to note that they have the best kids.Meals for the price and quality in cape coral for sure!!! And I have to say, my favorite thing I've had here so far is the ribs and baked sweet potato with a roadhouse salad. To be honest, I'd pay twice as much as they charge for that meal because it is that good!😃

Like other reviews of this place, I had a bad experience with the food and regret not walking out. I ordered a ribeye steak medium rare, baked potato, and green beans. The steak was almost tartar. Only very thinly seared, meat was purple, bleeding and cold. Even the waiter said, "I wouldn't eat that!". The baked potato was overcooked and only had a small edible inside. The green beans looked as though they had been 3 day leftovers. Will not be going back.

It is a no frills, sit down restaurant that you will get a lot of food, great service, and nothing unneeded. While we didn't like all parts of our meal, it did not take away from the overall rating. The things that worked, worked really well. The chicken fried chicken was absolutely fantastic. The open face meatloaf was also great. The burger was over cooked, and the kebab was a bit bland but the veggies were really good. Worth checking out for sure!
