I went to this place by myself about 6:30 PM on a Friday night. When I walked in, there was hardly anyone there, except for a few people at the bar, who seemed like they were having a good time. I was seated at a table, and immediately noticed how elegant the place was. They brought me some homemade potato chips, and my cocktail, while I scanned the menu. I placed my order starting with the Tuna Tartarre, then followed that with a Caesar Salad, and went with the Seafood Pasta as my main dish. The tuna was really, really delicious. Served with their homemade potato chips (same as the ones put on my table when I sat down). The salty bite is a nice accompaniment to the tuna. Really delicious appetizer. The salad was next and it was quite outstanding: creamy, delicious, crunchy croutons, and very fresh romaine lettuce. At this point I'd like to mention that the service was impeccable. Really attentive and dresssed very nicely. Everything about the meal so far was wonderful. Next came the main course, the Seafood Pasta. And I have to say, when they set it before me, I was a little under-whelmed. For a $48 price tag, I thought it would be bigger with lots more seafood. My dish had one shrimp, 5 clams, and a few calamari rings and I don't think there was any lobster. If there was lobster, it was such an insignificant amount, that I couldn't detect it. But, overall, the flavor of the dish was good, and I finished every bite. That being said, I enjoyed the restaurant very much. I wonder why there was no one there? If it's because it's set in a strip mall, perhaps, and people don't think a nice restaurant could exist in a strip mall... Well, then let that go people, this place is really nice. And I can't say enough about how elegant it was with perfect service. I might not order the Seafood Pasta again, but I would not hesitate to go back. Perhaps I'll go with a steak next time.

If you're in the mood for a fantastic dining experience, look no further than The Ridges! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an unforgettable meal. The star of the show has to be their steaks. Cooked to perfection, each cut was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. I opted for the Porterhouse, and it was one of the best I've ever had—juicy, well-seasoned, and grilled just right. The marbling was exquisite, ensuring every bite was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The service was impeccable; our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. The attention to detail and genuine care for the guests truly elevated our experience.Pair your steak with one of their signature sides—trust me, you won’t regret it! And don’t forget to save room for dessert; the chocolate lava cake is a perfect way to end your meal. Overall, The Ridges is a gem that offers exceptional food, attentive service, and an inviting ambiance. I can't wait to return for another round of those incredible steaks!

I wanted to like this place as I’ve heard many good things. I had a reservation at 7:30 for New Year’s Eve for 2 people. Our table was basically at the door which was unpleasant and cold. There were people hovering all over us which was overwhelming. The restaurant clearly overbooked because there were other parties waiting for more than 30 minutes passed reservation times. There were only 2 waiters working the whole night which made service incredibly slow. When we sat down it took about 10 minutes just to get our menus. The chair cushions were completely blown out as well. The food was just alright. Asked to pack up my steak to go only to realize when I got home the waiter packed up everything but my steak. I feel like I wasted my money. This place wasn’t worth the price in my opinion.

Do not sleep on this place! What an amazing addition to Stamford! I was finally was able to try it, we had a ladies night out, we were greeted by the owner at the door, escorted to a booth, our waiter was witty, funny and professional, he also knew his wines and I was impressed with the wine list. We ordered a few apps and shared the porterhouse, which came out on a sizzling dish and our waiter fixed our plates and kept our glasses full. I now bring clients, friends or just stop in for a late night cocktail. Oh! They also have a great happy hour! Do yourself a favor and try the Ridges!

If you’re looking for a top-notch dining experience, this steakhouse is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, yet elegant atmosphere. The menu offers a fantastic selection of perfectly aged steaks, each cooked to perfection. The ribeye I had was incredibly tender, full of flavor, and grilled just the way I wanted. The sides, from the creamy mashed potatoes to the delicious Brussel sprouts, were equally impressive. The wine list is also superb, offering great pairings for any cut of meat. Every detail is carefully considered, and the service was impeccable. I left feeling completely satisfied, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this steakhouse for anyone craving an unforgettable meal!

The Ridges Seafood & Steakhouse is exceptional! The crab cakes and shrimp cocktail I started with were fresh and full of flavor—absolutely the best I’ve had. For the main course, I went with the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, and my partner had the lobster tail that was tender and buttery. Every bite was incredible. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and Leon, the owner, takes it to another level. He’s so welcoming and clearly passionate about creating a great dining experience. You can tell he puts his heart into every detail, from the food to the service. If you’re looking for a place that delivers amazing food and a personal touch, The Ridges is the spot. Highly recommend!

For the best porterhouse in Connecticut, The Ridges is the ultimate destination. The porterhouse steals the spotlight—cooked to perfection, it’s tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, with just the right amount of char. Every visit leaves me consistently impressed with the top-notch service, inviting ambiance, and exceptional food.

I’m really sorry to say this, because everyone that works there was really nice, but this restaurant is terrible. The best thing they have going for them is the potato chips. It’s clear that the failure starts at the recipe and food ordering level. It’s doesn’t matter how good the chefs are when the meat is the cheapest you can procure. It also feels like all of the furnishings were purchased second hand as the seats were blown out, the steak knives were mismatched with broken handles and half of the glasses on our table were cracked. If you’re going to spend $400 on two people, you can choose almost anywhere else or you could go to Longhorn and get a better meal at less than half the cost. I’d rather not post this review, but I feel like I have to warn anyone that might spend this kind of money to dine out for a special occasion, your money would be better spent literally anywhere else.
