As good as it gets! One of my favorite places to frequent when I’m in the South Bay. Craft cocktails that are poured right, the salad‘s insides are to die for, and my favorite is the fillet medallions in the mushroom gravy sauce boat. if you like eclectic throwbacks in time, you must try The Bull Pen.

Good quality steaks in the $40 to $50 range that include soup or salad, baked potato, or fries with the meal. They offer prime rib on select days that is very good as well. Cozy atmosphere with well-made cocktails. I go with friends every few months or so, and I have not been disappointed yet. The eating area is not large, so we make reservations to ensure our spot.

This is a very “old school” local strip mall steak house. I’d venture to say that most of the patrons are regulars. Start with classic martini, and a 5 piece Shrimp cocktail. The steaks are good, albeit pricy for the cut, but flavorful. The chicken/pasta and beef tournedos were possibly better options. The wine list is limited but the 1000 ml Austin Hope is the go-to move. They have entertainment most Thursday-Saturday nights! VictorB

This place is a great local hangout. Their homemade soups are delicious and the bleu cheese dressing is addictive. The Buffalo wings are the best. On weekends the band starts around 8:30. It's always a good time at the Bull Pen.

Rude bartender, won't be back. Kept hearing good things about this place. Sat at bar, bartender was rude. Apparently they don't need new patrons. Like an idiot I ordered a drink anyway, it was the smallest double price nothing drink I'd ever had. No thanks, should have walked out right away, never again.

I'll be honest, my fairly expensive prime rib was only ok, cooked well but tough for prime rib. But I don't really care, the atmosphere was great, the service was great, and surprisingly, my favorite thing was the salad. I would definitely return to try some other menu items.

We had the best anniversary dinner here. The prime rib just melted in your mouth, and the salad with the beets was so tasty.
