Red Rock-Torrance is a Japanese-style Western restaurant specializing in high-quality beef dishes. The tender beef and excellent chef skills received much praise. Food portions are sufficient, with options for larger servings. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff create a warm dining experience. Popular dishes include the cut steak don, crispy pork cutlet rice bowl, and must-try omurice. The omurice, served with demi-glace sauce, is described as soft, fluffy, and flavorful. Though portions may be smaller than expected, flavors are consistently high-quality. Some reviewers noted that service could be indifferent and the restaurant is small, leading to waits. Overall, while prices are considered high, many find the quality of food justifies the cost and recommend trying it, especially during off-peak hours.

This is a Japanese-style Western restaurant that mainly serves beef dishes. In fact, the quality of the beef served here is very high, and the chef's skills are also excellent. The beef is soft and tender in the mouth, which is worthy of praise. As for The food portion is sufficient, so if you have a bigger appetite, just order a larger portion. The environment in the restaurant is simple, and the waiters are very attentive and courteous, making the guests feel warm. The lighting in the room is quite atmospheric, and it is a good choice to enjoy a sumptuous dinner with your partner.

Finally checked out this restaurant! It’s not very big, but the staff are really cute and friendly. The cut steak don was delicious. The pork cutlet rice bowl had a large portion, and the cutlet was super crispy. There’s a Japanese supermarket next door, making it convenient for dining and shopping on weekends.

Ordered the roast beef don. The flavor really took me back to Japan. Everything was amazing! Juicy cuts of meat to the mild sauce were an experience! Very cozy inside reminiscent of the little restaurants in kyoto. I just wish they opened early and closed later. Will be coming back for some sake for sure!

It was worth the drive to come here and try the food. It’s a very small place so there’s always a good waiting. The food comes out super fast. The portions are smaller than what the pictures are. I have to say the hamburger steak is different but really good tho.

The omurice is a must-try for anyone who loves rich, comforting flavors. It's perfectly soft and fluffy, draping over the rice like a silky cloud. The demi-glace sauce adds a deep, savory richness that ties everything together, making each bite incredibly satisfying. The choice of ketchup or garlic rice adds another layer of flavor, with the garlic option bringing a delicious, fragrant kick. If you’re looking for a well-executed omurice that’s both indulgent and packed with flavor, this one definitely delivers. 10/10 that day I went

I have been looking for a place that serves really good omurice. And I've found that place! Yummm! But I have to go back to try other dishes.

We came here curious to see how good the wagyu beef don could be. Unsurprisingly, the beef was very delicious, well-cooked with high quality! However the portion of meat in the regular bowl was small - I recommend getting the large bowl if you really want a superb carnivorous experience. The omurice with hamburg steak was quite tasty with a very sizable portion, and you can choose between garlic rice and ketchup rice. Service was alright but the server could be fairly curt and not as polite as I expect, especially in Japanese restaurants. The storefront was clean but the bathrooms were not well-stocked or as cleanly maintained. In sum, we left the restaurant mostly full, although I think the price is a little high for the value that you get.

Tiny restaurant, but the food they serve were delicious, above average. Not a fine dining place so I didn't expect much service. Treat it as a fast food high quality beef don place, then you will truly enjoy it. Yeah, a bit pricey, but the beef quality matches the price. Must go early, we arrived at 5:15pm, left with just one table and three counter seats. By the time we finished, there was a line already outside of the restaurant.
