Customer Review Summary
Kincaid's Fish, Chop & Steakhouse has a great ambiance and location, especially for outdoor seating near the pier. Service experiences vary; some servers are attentive and accommodating, while others have been criticized for being slow and forgetful. Food quality is inconsistent; many dishes arrived at room temperature or overcooked, yet some meals received high praise for flavor and freshness. Prices are considered reasonable for the area, but some diners felt the dining experience was tainted by service issues. Overall, while the restaurant offers great views and a nice atmosphere, opinions on food and service quality are mixed, leading to a willingness to return for some but disappointment for others.

Came for lunch on a Sunday. Greeted by amicable staff. Waited about 20 min to be seated. Ambiance is great, the outdoor seating is great. I ordered the salmon BLT which was good, overall. Nothing too unique about the sandwich or any dish in particular. Prices are what you would expect to pay (not too bad, actually). Server was really slow to serve and was constantly forgetting items we requested. Overall, decent experience. Plenty of paid parking in the parking garage.

Our server Herman was great and ensured we had everything we needed. One person in our party was a vegan and he presented her with multiple options to ensure she would be satisfied with dinner. Most of our food seemed like it was room temperature when delivered to the table instead of hot at fresh. I imagine that’s because had a large party. It wasn’t the best food I’ve had in life but it was decent. I’d go back. The lighting was dim. It was a nice atmosphere for a girls night, date, or corporate gathering. The location on the pier is great. Here’s what we ordered: 👇🏾 🔶 Coconut 🥥 Shrimp 🍤: Cajun marmalade, green onion, crispy noodles 14.5 🔷Tasting Sampler*:Oven Roasted Crab & Artichoke Dip, Seared Teriyaki Tenderloins, Coconut Shrimp $37.7 🔶 Broadway pea 🫛 salad 🥗: Water chestnuts, bacon, creamy white pepper dressing 🔷 FIRE ROASTED BAJA SALMON* 🍣 Seared shrimp, avocado corn salsa, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, beurre blanc 🔶 SLOW ROASTED HERB CRUSTED PRIME RIB• 10 oz. Stopped in for happy hour appetizers and a salad to share. Wedge Salad, calamari and hot crab dip. Caroline was an amazing server and Issac was great too when she went on break, he was right on top of it. Everything was great, but for us the Hot Crab dip was a little too “fishy” tasting. I was visiting from AZ and the atmosphere was beautiful sitting by the window in the bar. Thank you for the great hospitality and food.

The location is beautiful, our server was great and attentive. The first smoked old fashioned I had was perfection. That’s where everything going well ended. I ordered the filet with shrimp. Requested the filet to be cooked medium but when I got my food and cut into the steak it was obviously overcooked to well done. I showed it to our sever and he agreed and said he’d take it back and get me another one. When he returned it was the same steak and this time it was even more cooked. Again I had to send it back and this time asked for medium rare. Both times the manager came by to apologize and I was not one to get obnoxious about it. Just patiently waited and enjoyed the sunset and ocean view. I did order a second drink same old fashioned and this one was so overly sweet I couldn’t drink it. They bar manager offered to remake it but it still was not at the same level of perfection as the first one as the ratios of liquor to simple syrup were off. When my steak finally arrived it was cooked right but by then my companion had finished her meal and I was eating alone. To top it off they only offered to comp my friend’s non alcoholic drink of the meal tab. And at the end the manager never came back. Very disappointed with my meal and think the quality of the filet was not top like prime but select grade instead. Would not return here.

We've come a few times and have been impressed with the great service from Caroline and excellent food. Even the manager Isbhak came by often to see how things were going. There is a great view and we enjoy it most at sunset with such a great view. We would strongly recommend this hidden gem. We can’t wait to come again.

Stopped in for a quick bite at the bar during a weekday and it was a very quiet almost empty restaurant. I was greeted by the host and wanted to sit at the bar . No one was there so I chose to get a drink and bite to eat . Service was good but nothing special . I ordered fish and chips and a beer . The food came out quickly but failed to impress me . I stopped in as it is a fish & steakhouse restaurant but it fell short in regard of flavor and portions I don’t think I will be coming back unless it is with a group of friends who have no other option

Food? Incredible! Caroline? Should seriously reconsider her career choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our exotic mojito and smoking bourbon, and the food was delightful—amazing pea salad, good entrees, and fantastic crème brûlée. However, the experience was severely tainted by our waitress. Not only was she the epitome of misery, but she also made us wait over twenty minutes for a crème brûlée that was part of a prix fixe menu and didn't even bother to refill our waters til the very end. We even had to add time to the meter to compensate for her delays. In fact, the only thing she was quick about was processing our credit card. Her rudeness was striking; she didn’t smile once, barely spoke to us, and seemed visibly inconvenienced by having to accommodate an allergy at the table. After both parties at the table requested to speak with him, the manager did offer a nominal discount on the bill, which was a small consolation. Nonetheless, it was the most uncomfortable service experience either of us has had in over a decade. If the establishment wants to uphold its otherwise excellent standards, they might want to reassess Caroline's role. We will personally never return, despite the stunning location and enjoyable meal.

It was a very windy day, but it was a delightful meal. Excellent service and nice views. It's pricey, but well worth it! Creme brulee was the dessert served for our birthdays. The tasting sampler was easily shared between 7 of us, but we also ordered clams to share that had been caught that day. Fresh, flavorful, and such a treat!
